I definitely cannot spend over $100 on a perfume and frankly right now cannot even do the $50 but will be able to soon hopefully so want to add cheaper scents to my wishlist. And totally agree I have greatly slowed my blind buying of cheapies cause man that adds up fast and some are loves but enough of them aren’t and I’ve spent way too much on duds.
Yes! And they don’t hold as much value so if you go to resell you resell pennies . 🤦♀️At least the more expensive fragrances hold their value a bit better.

Ah, you know you're singing my song today, Chris. My goodness, Private Musk sounds mouthwatering. I am beginning to love oils now, so perfect to layer to extend the life of any perfume. I actually already own two of these on your list, the Sol de Janiero '71 in a tiny 1 oz bottle as wel as Presence d'Une, was saving the latter for spring so I guess I can pull it out now. I love the bay leaf in Lalique Le Parfum, one of my all-time favorites, so maybe I'd like the Individuelle, too, will have to think about it. I've slowed way down on buying because, like you have said, too many disappointing blind buys-not a lot per each to spend, but when you add up a few, well, you know what I'm saying, you wish you hadn't, LOL. About time to switch out my heavier fragrances for my lighter ones, but golly, I *have* to have some vanilla in there! It's my gotta have note. Yara has been on my "think about it" list for awhile and sounds like it will stay on that list until I am ready to buy again, from your description. Love those cost-effective fragrances! Hi Christine!! Although the cypress/evergreen notes are in there…it’s still more of a citrus Floral (with wood undertones). It’s not supper woody….more like the Mediterranean countryside where citruses and jasmine are growing. ❤️

I once visited what was formerly called Macedonia (Balkans) in spring and I used to walk along a cliffside where there were lots of wildflowers and green trees and I am hoping this will remind me of that smell. (I'm always on the hunt for particular, specific smells and this is one of my hunts.)
I have Lattafa Yara, I love it. I layer it with my Burberry her sometimes 💗I don’t get the whole strawberry milk or cheesecake, I get some strawberry fruity taffy candy with some pretty florals , it last on me too , all on its own

Yes!!! My daughter has Pink Sugar and she smells so good. Profumum Roma has one that smells incredibly similar (slightly better) but longer lasting. However comes with a HEFTY price tag.

Hi Chris! Plein Soleil by Yves Rocher is my current favorite. It’s mostly tuberose, ylang ylang ans sandalwood. It gives me a Hibiscus Palm or Holidays vibe… excellent for warmer days. They are fairly priced when you can get them on sale. I own a few and they hit the 4 hours mark for me so I’m happy with what I get for the price.

I really enjoy the fresh and fruitiness of Améthyste l'Éclat and White Touch. I really enjoy the gourmand aspects of Nebras and Yara. I get decent longevity with CkIN2U and it's kinda sweet on me. I don't know if it's because the're both pink but Yara by Lattafa is so reminiscent of Miracle by Lancôme (in my opinion)! I wore Miracle literally 20 years ago so Yara brings me way back!

Is it me but why can’t I smell pillowtalk poet? I blind bought a brand new batch I waited and waited for it to come in stock! The notes are everything I want but for the love of god I can’t smell but a tiny bit of I don’t even know.. powder? No vanilla chocolate or anything! Please is it just my nose? Yes, please, can you do a review on oils? An ad for Nest oils keeps popping up for me. Also, I went to the store and asked to smell Aphrodisiac by Initio (per your recommendation), but they didn't have it. However, this morning, I finally pulled a plug on getting Musk Therapy. I have never spent that much on a perfume. I can't wait for it to arrive.
I got 10% off and free shipping. So that brought the price down a little bit. I couldn’t find a smaller than 3oz bottle. Maybe you could do a video on how you buy expensive perfumes? Or maybe you’ve done it already and I just missed it. I know that you get deals on Jomashop…

I fell in love with BDK Velvet Tonka, but $250 is prohibitive for me. Fragrantica said that Joop Le Bain was the top match, so I spent my $30 on it; best pennies dropped, ever! Yes, the opening is harsh, but the rest of the day it wears beautifully close to the skin.
I want to get a bigger bottle of it, but I absolutely love Jessica Simpson's fancy. And I'm looking to get into just a couple fragrance oils. Nothing crazy. And I'm considering getting some of the Sol de Janeiro body mists. I got tiny little samples of the 62 and the 71 and I've just been wearing them before bed recently. They are pretty tasty smelling.

I blind bought Girl In Capri for £18 last year and wore it all spring and summer. Very light and fresh, really enjoyed it.

I don't know if it's because the're both pink but Yara by Lattafa is so reminiscent of Miracle by Lancôme (in my opinion)! I wore Miracle literally 20 years ago so Yara brings me way back!

Really enjoy Le Bain. And what vanilla lover doesn’t love Outremer..a perfect vanilla fragrance. I am going to add Pinrose Pillowtalk poet to your list..it is a bit pricier than the ones you mentioned but you can get a 10 ml and I think it would be a good substitute for Erotic Molecule until the people at Brecourt send you a vat🤣🤣
Is it me but why can’t I smell pillowtalk poet? I blind bought a brand new batch I waited and waited for it to come in stock! The notes are everything I want but for the love of god I can’t smell but a tiny bit of I don’t even know.. powder? No vanilla chocolate or anything! Please is it just my nose? I love BR540 and I know I have a sense of smell. I thought oh did I get a bad batch and spent $90? So I sniffed pillowtalk at stores and still can’t smell it! What is going on? Help 😮

Yes, please, can you do a review on oils? An ad for Nest oils keeps popping up for me. Also, I went to the store and asked to smell Aphrodisiac by Initio (per your recommendation), but they didn't have it. However, this morning, I finally pulled a plug on getting Musk Therapy. I have never spent that much on a perfume. I can't wait for it to arrive.

And also, per your recommendation, I've been on a lookout for sales at Jomashop, but Musk Therapy was almost the same price as at Saks. And because I'm not used to buying such expensive perfumes, I thought if it doesn't work out, I can go to the physical store and return it. I fell in love with BDK Velvet Tonka, but $250 is prohibitive for me. Fragrantica said that Joop Le Bain was the top match, so I spent my $30 on it; best pennies dropped, ever! Yes, the opening is harsh, but the rest of the day it wears beautifully close to the skin.

And I'm considering getting some of the Sol de Janeiro body mists. I got tiny little samples of the 62 and the 71 and I've just been wearing them before bed recently. They are pretty tasty smelling.
