with a hand crocheted project. how would you plan your pattern with the size and stitch to make sure you get the flower motif showing properly? like how wide/long should the piece be? is this only going to look good as a hat or on a 8 inch wide project?
This yarn is very pretty, I found some at Hobby Lobby but I found it very finicky in my machine. Prob due to chunkiness. The good news is I learned to fix dropped stitches while working with this yarn. I used a latch hook which worked very well. Thanks for the tutorial. Slowing down helped.
I have heard that a lot of people find working with that particular yarn very difficult as stitches tend to drop a lot and people,e spend more time fixing them than actually making the hat. That has always put me off using it
I don't usually knit with bulky yarn and large needles US13, but I made the Pretty Posy Baby Blanket and a newborn hat. It worked up beautifully but one of the balls of yarn was pretty messed up.The pattern takes 3 and the last one had breaks in it and when I pulled it out from the center it almost all came apart. Plus it was wound wrong from the manufacturer and the leaves and flowers were opposite all the other rows. I noticed it when the blanket was finished but I doubt the recipient will catch that. It is very soft and felt like roving rather that twisted. It is very pretty yarn but I doubt I'd use it again. The place I bought it from did not publish my review. I did not have a problem with dropping stitches, though.
They turned out so pretty...each different color. I would have never believed it if I hadn't seen it. Thank you.

This is gorgeous yarn. I use the DK weight yarn. I’m to chicken to fixed dropped stitches on the bulky. I never have luck fixing them.
