- Welcome to "Where the Locals Sk8" a podcast where we interview local skateboarders from around the world.
On this episode of Where the Locals Sk8, We meet local skateboarder Ben Allen originally from Brooklyn, NY. and representing Covina, CA. Ben started skateboarding in 1991. He even got to go to Woodward in Pennsylvania. He tells us how he got flow for Airwalk shoes. Skateboarding the Brooklyn banks and going to Tampa Am in 97 and 98. We learned about some of his favorite local spots to skate like P-Side DIY, and we talked about the new Covina skatepark. We also talked about some of the videos he was part of. His local skate shop is Pawn Shop Skate Co. And board setup, shoes, hobbies off the skateboard, and the crazy question.
