You’re really amazing! 🤩 I’ve been playing classical piano for about 60 yrs, ok with theory; unfortunately I’m a visual pianist, a few years ago embarked on play by ear, it’s challenging. Recently saw your HIGH QUALITY videos, v helpful, hope my learning can speed up 😂 Keep up your great work 💪
Thanks brother. Your videos have inspired me to learn piano, guitar and music theory. I know that I will be able to do this in a few years. I can already figure out a melody. Can’t wait until I can do this. Awesome.
As an amateur Pianist, ik gow tough it is to do that, and i am really amazed by your content, Really appreciate what you are doing. Amazing Work, Enjoyed ❤️
Love these kinds of videos. Maybe consider putting a physical timer so that people know that this wasn’t edited over a longer time period than you specified. Fantastic job on the video 👌🔥
Can you please please do a tutorial, if you know the melody and want to play a song by ear and know the chords what you do or can do with the left hand. What patterns do you use? And when to use what patterns and why. I so much would appreciate that 🎹💖💖
Your content is just amazing! I found you just by scrolling through the start page of RUclips. I watched this video in one piece and was stunned all the way! Your playing skills are just amazing! I started learning the piano when I was 8 (7 years now, I started really late) and I've always been fascinated by my music and I love the piano. However I think I really began learning just one and a half year ago, because I couldn't deal with my old piano teacher. So I changed and since then it works fine! I cannot live without the piano. When you play the piano, there is no real "goal". You can set your own goals to improve, learn faster and of course stay motivated. And I've just found my motivation in you. When you play, there is something that is amazing. I'm not really sure, what it is. Not only your facial expressions but also your love to the detail in every single note is very impressive. I can see, that you enjoy this and love playing. This motivates me really! I want to keep not only practicing, but playing the piano and put even more energy in it. Thank you really much! Btw I just subscribed after only watching one video of you, because I enjoyed it and I'm sure, the other videos will amaze me too... One of my favourites. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends! I'm sorry if my Englisch is not the best, but I tried my best :) I'm German
I've been learning sheet music daily for the past 5 months, and I'm finally starting to find the fun in it all. But I've also been thinking about starting on some ear training, and this is the video that finally convinced me to do it. It just seems like such a cool super power, and explaining your process made it seem just that little bit more obtainable than some other channels I watch.
Underrated piano playing your perfect pitch is insane I have no idea how to play it but watching videos like this inspires me to learn and play piano so I can do the same thing you’re doing! ❤❤
first time watching you do this , I wou ldlove to see some more complciated broken chords than dancing octaves, and holy fuck these songs are old hhaha, awesome tho man.
With just the 2 minutes to get something down I just went for the easiest way of getting the “vibe” across…I would definitely love to make more interesting and better arrangements though! 😊
@@matticawood i just wanted to see the harmony part I think that's def the hardest for me with arranging is pop stuff is making the arpeggios on the left hand so overly complicated lol .
@0:50 which is why if you do more of these challenges you should give yourself 30 minutes becasue it give you a chance to get through the song with average pop songs being about 3 minutes. Cool challenge though, maybe you could do the same with different genres, top 10 rock chart, top 10 metal chart ec
I have some questionss to ask. I can figure out chords fast and easy, but can't really catch the full melody of the song it always takes me some time, any tips to improve on this?

Thank you! I appreciate that! 😊
For real, he's amazing with the piano but also with the videos! A pleasure to watch 🤩
Bro your editing is so clean, and great video too. Makes me regret learning classical my entire life.
Thank you! I too have spent my life mostly learning classical…playing by ear is a good musical “side hustle” though 😂
I feel like it's best to learn both classical and pop
I mean if you are clasically trained you should be able to play these without much problems
