"I will not weep and wonder what might have been." When they showed the part with young Haytham and his father with that quote I lost it. So much emotion.
Edward was far far more mature at the end of black flag, it clearly shows it at the end of black flag. I feel as if Edward is the reason haytham was so confident and professional

It’s tragic because in honestly he wants to believe those things. He wished just liked Edward, that he knew more of his son.
I don't want the Kenway Saga to end..

Connor managed to stab Haytham in the neck with the Hidden Blade.
Haytham: Don't think I have any intention of caressing your cheek and saying I was wrong. I will not weep, and wonder what might have been. I'm sure you understand. Still, I'm proud of you in a way. You have shown great conviction, strength, courage, all noble qualities... I should have killed you long ago.

I will not lie: My eyes started to water a little bit when the video gets to the part where Connor has stabbed Haytham and Haytham says, "I will not weep... and wonder what might have been." And it flashes to Haytham as a child with Edward... Heartbreaking and brilliant.
I explain in my words why the Kenway saga is the biggest tragedy of all the AC universe :
Edward left Caroline without knowing that was the last time he'll ever see her. Since he and his friends are pirates, they are hunted by the governement and many of them died. Some of them betrayed Edward and he was forced To kill them. Charles Vane was a good friend of Edward but he lost his mind and was left alone in the island. Adewale lost his respect to his captain and left him. At the end of AC4, Edward sees all his dead friends, laughing and drinking with each other at the same table...like the old time.
Haytham, at a young age, saw his dad killed and his sister being kidnapped. Not knowing that it was his father's own assistant (I forgot his name) who planned the murder. This Guy manipulated Haytham so he could join the Templar. This Guy also send Haytham To kill his old friends. Just imagine the shock when Haytham learned the truth (dont worry, he rescued his sister and kill the bastard). After that, there is no return, he has no choice but To accept his templar destiny and finish his work. Haytham will later learn the death of his wife and his son will hate him for a crime he didnt commit. He will finally let himself killed by Connor because he is not able To kill his own son since he didnt wanted To drag him into this mess. He even wrote a letter To Connor To let him understand about his ideology.
As we all know, Connor saw his whole village get burned. He also witness his mom's death. His peaceful life will turn into a revenge. Determinated To hunt down Charles lee. On his adventure, he will create a bond with Washington, he though that Washington will save his village...but He learned later that Washington himself was preparing an attack on his village. On his way to save the village, his old friend got manipulated by Charles Lee and Connor was forced To kill him. He was forced To kill someone who he was supposed to protect. He also got the chance To finally meet his father but was still angry due to his absence and the whole thing with Charles lee. He wanted him to change but after all, he couldnt forgive him for always protecting Lee. Once again, Connor was forced to kill someone dear, his own father.
AC has a lot of sad story, but the kenway saga has the most tragic story of all

Kenway saga is the saddest, just imagine how would it be if Edward still lived, Haytham would be an Assassin, if Haytham stayed with Ziio they would have had such a nice family and Connor would be trained by his father and they would have such a good father-son relationship. I loved Haytham and he is in my opinion the best character in the AC series even he was a Templar, he had something special and good in himself.

Somehow you're right.
To al the people out there, complaining about Edward and Connor. This may be a long comment, but you'll have to read it. And before reading, please know that I respect everyone's opinions.
Those are mostly from Forsaken. There may be spoilers, so please stop reading if you don't want them.
Let's start from Edward. You would be saying that he is not a true assassin and all, but in Forsaken, Haytham talks about him, and more importantly, he ADMIRES him. Why, though? Edward, was always teaching Haytham how to fight with a sword since he has been able to hold one. Edward protects his family. He shows mercy. (There is a part with Birch, AKA the bastard, I don't want to spoil it.) He has grown older, but also wiser. This is why Haytham admires him, calls him his Sun and Moon. So, what did I try to tell you here? Edward is not a weak character, not even near it.
Now, Connor. (THERE WILL BE SPOILERS, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.)
You might think that Haytham hates Connor or something. You are wrong. It's the opposite. Haytham saw Connor as the man he should've been. He admired him. He didn't want to show it. He would let Connor see his "weakness" against him. He rescued Connor from being hanged. (It wasn't the assassins, Haytham talks about it in Forsaken.) He secretly sabotaged the work of his own order. Why? He wanted him to live, actually, he wanted his son to live. He thanked god Connor lived. He thanked Achilles for training Connor. (Not in person.) So, Haytham proved Connor was a strong person, physically and as a character.
So in short, Haytham admired 2 people in his life. 2 Assassins. His son and his father. Now, what is your complain about Connor and Edward, or one? Please, if you hate something, atleast know wha you are hating. I hope I didn't waste my time. And again, I respect everyone's opinions.

Edwards Story Really Hurted
It's more grounded... ever since AC 3... they have been doing well until Syndicate came along like a mega turd. Not just the Kenways... but also Shay Cormac, Arno Dorian... they also go through similar heart breaking yet engaging storylines.
Aside from the Kenways... the rest are not driven by tragedy but rather a moderation vs extremism.
Shay is driven by a repulson for the Assassin's fanaticism and arrogance... Arno is driven by his moderate views on Templars and Assassins ways... while trying to protect the only family he has left now Elise... against the extremists Assassin Bellec and extremist Templar Germain.
And the series went into a sort of dark ages until Valhalla came along and reinvigorated franchise.... even if it too has its drawbacks... Valhalla's lore is phenomenal either way.

The Kenways have a sad story. Edward lost Caroline and all of his friends, then was later killed during the invasion of his home. Jennifer Scott was captured during the invasion of her home and she became a concubine, then later a servant to the other concubines (she was a concubine/servant for almost 30 years). Haytham was tricked into becoming a Templar and had to kill many of his friends and watch them die ( such as Braddock, Mr. Birch, Holden (who was captured by the people who held Jennifer Scott captive and had his genitals removed, he then later committed suicide after Haytham had recovered from a wound), John Harrison, Zioo, etc. He also was killed by his son. Conner as we all know his land was taken from him and his tribe was dead, he had killed his friend, and had seen Achilles die. In my opinion Haytham had the saddest story of them all. (If you would like to know more consider reading the book: Assassin's Creed Forsaken)

People need to stop bitching about Connor! He never knew his father till later in his life after he becomes an assassin, his mother and possibly most of his friends burned alive (the former did so in front of Connor), and he is a Native American in Colonial America. He has had one of, if not the most tragic story of all the assassins to date.

EZIO:family killed in front of him mother and sister left, later on dies just cause he chose a much simpler way of life lol irony.
CONNER: entire village burned, watched his mom crushed and burned, loses most of his people, loses the old man, had to kill his own father.
AVELINE: lost her mother raised by stepmother who was in secret templar headmaster she used aveline, aveline never knew her master was in fact her father. had to kill her stepmother. her stepfather was killed
ALDEWALE: killed by shay lost some people to.

In it shay was ambushed by 8 assassins including Arno who was the leader ....Shay tried to run but was outnumbered and was stabbed by arno 10-15 times continuously
The Undertaker wiki said "Since Shay reclaimed the artifact in 1776, he searched for more precursor artifacts rather than returning to the colonies.[3] Later in life he trained his son and grandson in learning to master Freerunning and Eagle Vision. They also inherited his air rifle.[4] It is unknown for how long he hunted Assassins." so pretty much I'm lost now

You play unity and you will know that because you have to control arno and kill shay while he is trying to run
The Kenway family was very interesting. Connor did the biggest job of any assassin since Altair. He brought freedom to a freaking nation and took down the British and the Templars at the same time. Plus, he did his kills in the most ba way. Ezio has nothing on him when it comes to achievements.
Yeah, Connor almost singlehandedly resurrected the American Colonial Order of Assassins, undid all of Shay's work, and rooted out nearly all Templars in the colonies. And on top of that, helped the Americans win against the British. In terms of effectiveness, no other Assassin comes close. (Maybe Ezio).
Ezio took down The Freakn BORGIA Family. Who owned the entire freakn army of Rome. Hello 🙄 Would you Wake Up

When Edward returned to England, Assassins were virtually non existent, Templars ruled England, He built the brotherhood and was the leader of the entire brotherhood of a fuckin’ nation and after his death, assassins fell again as there was no leader as powerful as Edward until Fryes twins came and destroyed Templars

Don't know why I love connor so much
The beauty of every Kenway is, they fight for their own causes with their reasons respectively, and ended badly. Edward realized the mistakes he done and can't undo it, only be better and serving the British brotherhood, but assassinated by Templars. Ironically Haytham joined the Templars, the ones Edward once hated. He's a broken man who violently killing innocents, but wanted to form peace and even doubted the cause he followed loyally, eventually letting his son Connor kill him. Connor was also struggling to find peace for his people and equality so he fought for the patriots, ending up knowing it was the Washington whom burned his village and equality for the white, all his efforts were in vain. People calling him emotionless, his world was f##ked up and not as simple as assassins Vs templars. He was forced to be mature and he like the only assassin to rebuild the whole colonial brotherhood, building relentlessly. Abstergo mentioned he died alone abandoned by his wife. Each Kenway were forced to be independent at young age ,without parents' guidance alongside had a tragic life and had their life ended sorrowfully.
From the bright side, each Kenway is a skilled fighter,and posses eagle vision. Each of them is a gem either to the brotherhood or the order.
Connor died alone? That's propaganda by Abstergo.

I think a Robin Hood AC would be ideal. Prince John being a templar he was power hungry like most templar leaders especially like ACII's templar leader (who I forgot his name). The merrymen could be Robin Hood making a Assassin Brotherhood. Robin Hood is tied with fighting the templars during the crusades I think maybe its the other way around.... It could work.
i think that next assassins can be enacted in Siam ,, samurais and shoguns ,,i think that may be interesting .. :)
Norčo Javor I do not know much about the Siam. However, Samurais and Shoguns would be pretty awesome. Even Ninja's who we know were Assassins.

Excellent music choice and great editing skills.
I think people don't get that the assassins creed stories have been about Altair, Ezio and the Kenway family not just Connor, Haythem and Edward as separate tales but the tragedy of their bloodline which was meant to reflect Desmonds life in a way. People say they hated Connor or they hated Edward, it's not about them individually but collectively as a tragic assassin family. I think this video does a good job at representing that so well done.

I love these videos. They really make me want to think about how painful all their lives were... It's hard for me to even say who had the most painful story!
I still believe the most tragic story is altairs. Altair was raised as a tool and when he finally realized that he had to kill the master he once loved. And then there was his friendship with abbas that ended in a life long rivalry that would take everything altair loved away from him and send him into excile for twenty years of lonelyness before it ended. i get sad whenever i think of it
Arvid Duekilde Yeah, these may be simply video game characters, but they've all had so much pain in their lives... Ezio had his family hanged, then that happened to Atlair, then Edward had to loose all his friends and his wife to finally realize it wasn't worth a bit of coin, then Hatham's father died, Connor had to kill his own father because he was a Templar (Reminds me a bit of when Atlair had to kill his master) and Desmond... Well.. It's hard to explain exactly what happened to him. Anyways, it's sad that all their lives were so miserable.. I think it's a hard contrast between Connor's story and Atlair's story when it comes to tragedy.
