It's the fact that she looks young enough to play a convincing high schooler. A lot of actors in their 20s don't. Just look at the cast of Riverdale. Most of them are in their mid 20s, and they look it. Some of them such as KJ Apa and Lili Reinhart were only 19-21 in the first season, and they still looked a lot older than high school age.
