You show in this video something that not very many bush crafters have. Integrity! I have had the experience on other sites that ask for a 5-star review and get a huge discount. I soon figured out that those offers are from the worst sellers on that site. I gave the first companies product a horrible review because I was honest. Never heard from them again. Some of those sellers are not sellers anymore. You sir will be around for a very, very long time. I love the videos and now like you even more. Thanks, and keep doing what you do.
Mr. Frosty there is no need to apologize. I like to think that if we don't make mistakes, then we can not learn and it takes a lot of character to admit when we make one. I found your channel shortly after you started it (thanks to Simon at Survivialand) and always look forward to seeing what adventures you and Tref get into! Hi, Frosty! Loved the video! Curious about your hot sauce. If it’s not made with vinegar, what is it made with? Just chili & tomatoes? I love hot sauce or salsa on my cheesy eggs! See you next time… say hi to Tref for me!
Hi Frosty!... which Skrama knife do you recommend?.. the 200,.. or the 240?... (personally,.. I'm thinking for the minor price difference,.. the 240 may be the way to go.) .... however I value your "hands on" experiences with it... thanks,... Howard.
I never used the 200 but I LOVE my 240. The blade is long enough to be used almost as a machette and is really sharp thanks to relatively thin ground. And the "grip and a half" handle is just amazing, you can choke up for some fine work (blade is even sharpened at lower degree first +-2") and gold it near the end for chopping. Only 'problem' is that it rusts a bit near the ricasso (where handle meets the blade) but the handle is press fitted rubber and you can take it off with a bit of effort and put some epoxy inside. I did that on one Skrama and it worked out great.
Thanks Frosty!... and yeah ,... the carbon steel will rust,, and requires sealing/oiling but it really can be sharpened to a "scary sharp" edge!... and gor the minimal price difference, the 240 is the way to go for sure!.. Heck you can chop, and baton wood, and then slice up strips of bacon too!... I also check with you Survivaland friend too.... and it's unanimous!... LOL.. Thanks again,.. say hi to Tref!
