Paul & Lynsey's Zoo Tour

For Lynsey's birthday we visited her parents in France (for the fourth year in a row), visiting Puy du Fou (a must visit!) and a couple of new zoos. The first new zoo was Zoo Boissière du Doré near Nantes.
It's a really nice zoo, with lots to see, including jaguars, orangutans, brown bears, lions, tigers and giraffes. Most of the enclosures were good sized and had decent viewing opportunities. The bird show was also really good and would recommend it. It's not quite up to Beauval or Puy du Fou standard but still good in it's own right.
The highlights of our visit were the baby jaguar, the inquisitive orangutan and the playful binturong babies. This place is well worth visiting!
