The concept of "fight or flight" is something that's prominent in this episode. Earlier in the episode, Night Feeder just slaughtered an entire herd of ceratopsians without any remorse, and Spear being a passionate hunter and having empathy for the animals he hunts for survival, he tries to go and stop the senseless killing, but Fang immediately stops him and seemingly telling Spear that "You're crazy, whatever is slaughtering those animals will do the same thing to you. Just stay put." And at this moment, those same instincts kick in and they run. So really, they wouldn't have lasted long if Spear didn't discover the beast's weakness.

in some ways i felt like a child reading a book because the animation had no english audio just sound’s its a work of art honestly kept my eyes glued every episode so i can catch every detail glad to see that after samurai jack he still had more fuel i can’t wait to see what’s next genndy !
Question for the people running adult swim’s website: Will you guys ever upload the storyboards/animatics for Primal season 2 to your website? If so when? I have seen one of the people who has worked on the show upload a few seconds from one, and I, as well as most likely the entire Primal fan base would love to see the rest of them.

I definitely consider this one of the best adult animated series I've ever seen. It's amazing how you can tell a story with little to no dialogue. Also I wish there were more adult animated shows that were as deep as this series.
