Patrick and his wife, Kathy started the company with a plan for top quality food, with a limited menu, simply presented, at lower prices than their competitors. They treat their employees well with health benefits, small loans, a free ham or turkey at the holidays, and a birthday cake every year. They hire lots of high school kids and provide a way to develop a great work ethicand opportunities to move up in the organization. Next time you're in Austin, try P.Terry's again. Get onion on your burger and try one of their shakes. They are yummy. They do a shake of the month also. Enjoy your next adventure!

Patrick was following his childhood dream to open a classic burger stand, like the legendary Mack Eplen's he grew up with in Abilene, Texas.
