    Most impressive thing about this video is he didn't hit any trees when he was maneuvering around between them. That Tigercat is a beast.

    Very efficient. This is the kind of machine that pays for itself pretty quickly if you regularly have a lot of trees to cut. Very impressive.

      @@KPearce57 one to many ts. And these guys arnt ameteurs. The equipment doesnt define the operator or the company. Logging style greatly varies depending on location.

    That has got to be lots of tooth picks in that lot bro. Must be one of the safest ways to cut trees down. Thanks for sharing

    Seems like a lot of extra work. When when we clear land like this we knock all the trees down with trackhoes, the loggers come and haul the trees off and we don’t have to spend more time trying to find and dig up all the stumps.

    Not sure but is that one of the smaller Tiger Cats? Seems it can't cut quite a few trees plus doesn't seem able to carry cut trees for stacking allowing faster pick up like others do ?

      Vaughn Hostovich yeah I feel like the ones I’ve seen on cottton tops are able to cut down monsters with no problems

      That cutter should cut through all them without having to dap them ! My cutter is the exactly like that one and it will go through them and carry them !!!ass end may come up! But that the fun part!!! Lol

    Tracked-excavator type feller-bunchers made these loader-style ones second class citizens - and cheap on the used equipment market

    Chris love the videos man, but the right side that the head ejects the wood chips on and the front is the danger area if he hits a rock it is possible for teeth to come off and go flying I have seen feller bunchers do this, in my past years of being a logger.
    On one occasion it happened and shot it through the radiator on a service truck and made a dent on the front of the engine.
    Most of the time there is labels on the buncher saying stay 300 feet back and I personally would do that.
    Stay safe man and keep the videos coming love them.

    They also make these to go on an excavator that also de bark and strip the limbs. Likely for a pulp operation.

    You'd better be careful. Watching timber harvesting with big machines can be addictive. All these logging videos are playing right into Logger Wade's corner. You'll be having to buy a Tigercat now just avoid losing subscribers to him. I think he's working on getting a Volvo too though so maybe you can feed off each other.

      Gamerzofgrovestreet they have steel or carbine teeth that you change out! You can turn them once before having to buy a set!

    Now I dont know crap about logging but it seems to me I've seen machines that would cut a way bigger tree in one swath so to speak. Seems they pinched the tree maybe I was dreaming tho

    Diffinetly not skilled. He can not handle the tree once he cuts them and has them on the ground all over the place, not in one place. He does have better equipment than that Volvo junk!
