I didn't even know they made Ghosts and Goblins for the C64. I'm intrigued and would like to see more.
I need to get a PCB or 2 done with PCN Way, one for the race dash and one for the ECU (break out adapter) Always great to see these retro pcb vids
This is such a fun project. Love the new logo too.
@@AnotherMaker Thanks yeah a whole lot of new start at the moment
That's the IEC Serial port, not the User-port. The User-port is the wide one on the far left on the C64. The one which was usually used for Modems back in the days, or WiFi modems nowadays. I am sure you already know this and are just brain farting all over the place. But there are newer generations of C64 users out there, who are confused enough as it is with these old relics.
- Yeah, and by that, I guess I mean both us and the C64s 😅
thanks a lot for sharing this i have the same pi1541 cart!:)
Thank you very much. 🙏
I've completed the device, it works fine. However, I'm not sure how to connect the pins of the JST connector to the DIN6. In my case, pin 1 is black, and I soldered it to the first left pin of the DIN (when viewed from the soldering side). The cable (red) from pin 2 of the JST, I soldered to the next DIN pin, and so on until pin 6 (green), which I soldered to the central pin of the DIN connector. Unfortunately, the C64 cannot recognize the connected device, so I suspect there might be something wrong with my soldering scheme. Can anyone advise me on this?
Will this load games with more than 1 x D64 file like Fighter Bomber? If so how do I select the next disc when prompted? thanks
Anyone have a link to the correct SD card files for the Pi Zero to work with this project?
Nice!!
Thanks. I've been using it for a little bit now and enjoy it.
