Turquoise Cheetah because most of us have jobs and obligations. But on Thanksgiving, we are usually lucky enough to have most of the country to decide that all that bullshit can wait and we can just be together.
One, I am part Native American (Mohawk) and I really, really, wish pasty white liberals would stop telling me how racist Thanksgiving is. I love Thanksgiving, it's one of my favorite holidays, if not my favorite every year. It was the one holiday where my family would get together every year, and I would not take that away from my son. Also, I don't drink on Thanksgiving, because I end up driving either somewhere or another early the next day. Another thing, I prefer a smaller turkey, usually a 14-15 pound bird, most large birds are 25-27 or so, my birds tend to be more healthy, next year I hope to maybe raise my own. If it were up to me, I would do a venison roast but not everyone in the family likes venison, so what can I do? So, just because you don't like Thanksgiving, that's fine. I don't try to push my beliefs of hunting, fishing, and trapping on you (and again being Native American, that's part of my culture, history as well as that of my relatives, which nothing goes to waste anyway) please don't push your Vegan, non-meat eating beliefs onto me or mine, or tell me how much you think Thanksgiving was mean to "indigenous" peoples. Again, a lot of us who actually are "indigenous" are getting tired of being misrepresented by people who don't have a clue what we believe.
Kel L your CLEARLY do not know what thanksgiving is if you think it’s about the genocide of a people! We had CELEBRATED why we loved the American-Indians

Catherine3385 funny thing, "One" does not mean "the only". And since she's Jewish, I think she knows more than enough about the atrocities of the holocaust, friend. Kinda fucked to bring it up like that.

Some random thoughts on your Thanksgiving post: 1) While I agree the Pilgrim aspect is right, I tend to think of the Lincoln Aspect--that is Lincoln declared the third Thursday in November as a national day of Thanksgiving during the Civil War. 2) Overindulgence and Veganism taken into consideration, my family and many others have limited our intake of food and yes, I and others have eaten no turkey for the holiday meal. 3)Turkey: I am sure you have been to Israel and what is the number one meat eaten there? Turkey! Why? It's cheap, lower in fat than beef, it aligns very well with Kosher dietary laws and easy to produce....what is second? Tuna. Have a nice broiled tuna with veggies......people still can be thankful. But yes...........I like the parade.....and the family meeting to be thankful and grateful........... In short, Thanksgiving is what YOU and your family make of it.......oh, one other thing..... perhaps you and your family shouldn't volunteer at a homeless shelter to serve holiday meals....it's full of things you wouldn't like.......but then when we have volunteered at the shelters here in Tucson, the people there seemed to be grateful just to have a meal..........even the children. So, Volunteer!!!!! Make that a holiday tradition!!!! As for the guy who wants Trump to be president again in 2020...........I'd rather see a dead genetically altered bird be president than a man from New York City, born and raised on the 50th floor, who eats pastrami on white bread with extra mayo...........the man has yet to eat a bagel with lox....but then he is our first gay president......his best friend was Roy Cohn who taught "Donnie Boy" everything he knows.
The beautiful part of Thanksgiving is the choice to celebrate it how it works for you. My Canadian Thanksgiving isn't a celebration of the genocide of half of my family, nor is it religious; it's just an occasion to be grateful for the love of friends/family/chosen family. We make a nice meal, everyone contributes something and we enjoy the togetherness. It's not gluttony or excessive drinking, some of us don't/can't drink...heck, some of us can't eat sugar either! Don't be so judgmental just because diets, ethics and morals vary, just make your Thanksgiving meaningful to you and yours.
i mean, just because this is how you feel doesnt mean everyone else has to agree. You have as much of a right to love thanksgiving as she does to hate it, and she has every right to voice that disdain as well. and whether you want to believe it or not, holidays have a meaning. you can skew that around to fit your family all you want, but that doesnt change the fact that thanksgiving is rooted in tricking native americans into trusting the pilgrims so that they could kill them all off when they let their guard down. try not being so offended that others dont practice the same holidays as you and just accept that she has her own reasons.
Cheshirecat Grin the origin of the Christmas tree is when Catholics would burn people on them. Maybe if she thought of that she could barely handle having Christmas with her family. She's an idiot.
More indigenous peoples were killed by the Europeans in colonizing the America's than by the Nazi's. Many of those people reject Thanksgiving commemorations for those reasons
Brigit R it’s actually not true the Indians were already killing each other just like Europeans one of the first settlements was massacred by Indians the whole spreading disease thing was not a tactic people did not know back then why you got sick the fact was any early salor that volunteered to cross the oecan to his possible death was low on status and generally had illness you people cling to the same lies no different then the homogenous Thanksgiving lie India’s are humans and like every other human race they were warlike they lost the war that’s it I dint hear you crying about the carthaginians being wiped out or any other group of people this has happened through history and is still happening to this day if you realy care but a ticket to the sub saharan Africa pick a country and start fighting if not keep your mouth shut
Wow you must be fun at parties? Don't wanna turkey? Don't eat one! Don't wanna be thankful for abundance of the harvest season? Don't celebrate...anything! But don't gripe about all the people who want to celebrate with their families and stuff their faces with turkey and cornbread stuffing....now pass the pie and Happy Thanksgiving!
SHON3Nknife lmao she is the one ignoring history. The majority of indians were ruthless and violent. Also humans eat meat ans have so for thousands of years because our body needs it. Just because it hurts your feelings to say that doesnt mean its not true.
Im 6 and half months pregnant and have a hard time gaining weight so I'm going to take every advantage of eating every thing i can 😂 but i absolutly love being with family that's the best about the holiday
Ironic that you say you don't like Thanksgiving because it is "excessive" but you get REALLY excited about Macey's announcing it is time to shop for Christmas. And your historical ignorance is embarrassing.
*sobs and hates myself for being jealous* -- also we don't celebrate thanksgiving, right Selina? And I partially agree with Mayim about the cons of (in general) lots of traditions. I don't celebrate a lot of traditions, to be honest.
Thank you once again for being you! I agree with you on being over it! lol. My kids are grown, but I was so thankful for them coming home just to be with me that day. Keep being you!
I'm a Cherokee, of British ancestry, who is married to a Jew, raising a Christian family, who just listened to another celebrity describe Thanksgiving as a decimation of indigenous culture. Here are a few fun facts to ponder, Mayim: 1. There were no "indigenous" hominids in the Americas, so even the First Americans were immigrants. 2. The greatest contributor to the destruction of any culture is when people can't tell an audience anything about that culture other than "they were treated badly" and "let's feel sorry for them." If all you know about the Cherokee is that we walked the Trail of Tears, and there's a Jeep named after us, then you're part of the problem! 3. Thanksgiving, like culture, is what you make of it. While it's true The First Thanksgiving wasn't exactly what your grade school teacher told you it was, it also wasn't about invaders exploiting native peoples. This Thanksgiving, perhaps you can encounter a true history lesson. I suggest you start by looking up a guy named Squanto. Happy Thanksgiving! :-)
Thanksgiving is what you make of it. Don't like the idea of a turkey carcass for dinner? Don't have one. Too much food? Make less. Too many holidays? Don't celebrate it. It's not a law that you have to celebrate anything. It's your own personal decision. Historical problems? The whole pilgrim thing is a bit absurd anyway. Thanksgiving was first a national call for thankfulness by Lincoln in the middle of the Civil War. It was to try and unite the Union in the middle of the bloodiest conflict in history. It's not my favorite holiday. I do like the traditional foods, and fix them for my partner and myself. We eat off of trays watching "Home for the Holidays", my favorite holiday film. This year I'm fixing a turkey breast, boxed instant dressing, gravy, salad, green bean casserole, and a pumpkin pie. Next year we'll probably have to do a vegan version, since my partner has kidney problems and if it gets any worse he can't have animal protein. All if it is geared to 2 people, with very few leftovers that usually wind up as the dog's dinner. Enough food for 2 people and one small dog, some suitable entertainment (we put on the puppy bowl for a while for the dog). No real religious meaning, since we have different faiths. Occasionally we get calls from family over 2000 miles away. That's OK, but there is a reason we're 2000 miles away. So don't sweat liking or disliking the day. It's just another day. Hug your kids, watch some video, sing a few songs. Things we should do every day, anyway.
Yep. Although it does take a lot less energy to watch and comment on a video than fix a big Thanksgiving dinner. You miss my point though. I understand and agree with Mayim. I was just saying that the pressure and the problems she mentions are under her control.
We have more than two people that lives in our house and we have family coming my brother sister in law and my two nieces which is their daughters and my dad's side of the family
If my woman does not want to cook turkey Ill cook it and get a new woman. baaahaha. I thought all the movie stars was going to move when Trump won? I ate Turkey for 3 days. Baaahahaha
Thanksgiving is such a special time to celebrate with your loved ones about how thankful we are for everything God has blessed us with. ❤️ I love Thanksgiving.
if she has a favorite meal doesn't mean that she agrees or likes celebrating this holiday. You people must learn how to think outside the box for once.
@@birligoiucosmina1706 lol what a stupid comment. She just got done saying in the other video that she doesn’t care for copious amounts of thanksgiving food and doesn’t like cleaning up after cooking and how much she dislikes that holiday - and then posts a thanksgiving recipe. It actually doesn’t make sense, and you know that. “Thinking outside the box” doesn’t apply here, idiot. She’s an overly opinionated negative hypocrite who disagrees with everything
Late to the party and addressing the content of the video only. I love Thanksgiving and what it represents. I do agree, however, that the absurd amount of food and the time taken to prepare it, is a waste. I don't remember Thanksgiving for any particularly wonderful dish, but remember it for the games we played, how loud we got and how much we laughed. That part I'm thankful for. The spirit of the holiday, purely. I feel like I should apologize for not being as superior and bitter as the other commentators on this video. No... I really don't. Love your videos, thank you for doing them.
I'm with her, never been into Thanksgiving doubt I ever will b. To me it's just a start for holiday shopping and fall is my favorite season. Who needs the turkey lol
I personally don't care for turkey. I also don't care for cooking, overeating, and clean up. I do enjoy family getting together but we can go to a restaurant.
@Dajuan Washington I do not agree with every thing she says but as am American she has the same rights as ALL Americans, you are free not to watch her videos or anything she acts in that is YOUR right. As an actress I like her but we have different ideas on several sunjects
I write this as a man who's paternal grandfather was half American Indian. Just a little tired of the false Liberal mantra of the "Nobel Savage," "peaceful culture" image of the American Indian tribes before the Europeans arrived to wreak havoc on the land and it's people. Archeological evidence points to a violent tribe against tribe existence for hundreds of years before the indigenous populations ever met the first white man. If anything, for those of us who have inherited the past of this land, European civilization afforded a more stable life opportunity for the peoples that call this continent home. Yes the change was painful and in a lot of ways unfair. The transition from violent savagery and take from others for ones survival to self reliance always is painful and for many, unfair. You wouldn't know it from the false image the media paints, but the evolution of this country and it's culture has made us the magnet to the down trodden and disenfranchised people all over the world. They come by the tens of thousands every year. To top it off, most of them bring a work ethic with them that puts our home grown whiners to shame. Why is that, if America is such an awful place to live? Naturally, one must take some time off the picket lines, leave the pity party celebrating the bad luck of having been born into a lower social status than some rich slob, a few rungs up the social ladder from you. Put down the protest signs, the booze, the drugs, unload the guns, pull up the droopy pants, put the hat on straight and do a bit of work to take advantage of all the unlimited opportunities American culture offers us. But no, no, no ... it's so much easier to dwell on some made up romantic image of a long lost past and place the blame on someone else for your sad state, wallowing in self pity, than actually get up off the damned sofa, and help yourself.
Next Thanksgiving I am going go around the table and ask my family to tell us all what they are most thankful for. What I will be most thankful for is that Mayim Bialik is not sitting at mine.
She's right. I'm sure in time the indigenous folks would have paddled their canoes over the Atlantic and defeated Hitler with their bows and arrows. And of course after they reached victory, handed Israel back their land.
I would think the first reason you didn’t like Thanksgiving was the turkey. I love the turkey and all the fixings followed by pumpkin and apple pie. Then the turkey sandwiches and turkey soup you make the next day. The most thing I do love about Thanksgiving is that we are reminded to be thankful at least once a year for some ppl. We also go around the table and share what we’re thankful for. I’m thankful every day for what I have. I’m thankful that I find wonderful and inspiring videos like yours on you tube. Most ppl live on facebook or other social media. I just about live on you tube and find all kinds of vids. Some to help me when I get stuck on an online game I’m playing. Music videos. Relaxation and ASMR vids for my anxiety. And so many more.
I respect her opinion but the fact is I come from an American Indian family and we celebrate Thanksgiving. Not for what it was but for what we've made it become. We spend time with our families, we celebrate our lives together. America itself has an ugly past, the only reason to remind others of it is so that it isn't repeated. That's it. No other reason, especially not to stir controversy for political, religious, or self promotion.
I don't understand why people choose to criticize others just because they think differently. Ugh. Keep your chin up, Mayim, you are an amazing, honest, real woman and I admire you deeply
It's really weird, but almost every single Jew hates and does everything they can to damage and wear down whichever country they're in. Unless that country is Israel of course.
For years I hated Christmas. Then like you, I made a list of all the things that I didn’t like and the two things that I liked(smell of real trees and dorky lights in weird unexpected places). Over the years it came to be that my family, instead of the old “leave her alone, she hates...” started commenting on goofy stuff I might like. Maybe your sons ,or your friends(like us) might start commenting on Mayim’s dorky gratitude circle as a way of being thankful for you.
I have no bad feelings towards Mayim, and I hope all is well in her life. I am sad about the fact that she has been miseducated by political leftists, and I hope she keeps on studying this issue and learns the truth about the founding of America. Being thankful to God is what the Puritans did since the very beginning, and IF Mayim will study the history of America by a non-leftist historian, she will find out the truth and become much more thankful and knowledgeable about America.
I agree with so much of this! I don't like celebrating a day that's all about European conquest. However my family does so try to focus more on the "Giving Thanks" part and count the blessings in my life. And of course the parade!
Well there are some issues with being vegan too. For starters, many of the ingredients used by vegans, including quinoa, are harvested from third world countries. This causes the prices of food in places like Peru to go up, and poor people end up having to pay more. Being vegan is not necessarily the greatest lifestyle to have, if someone wants to talk about injustice and genocide.
What you’re talking about is responsible sourcing. Maybe the phone I am using was made by child labourers in a Chinese sweat shop, should I just stop using my phone or purchase it from a better manufacturer? Californian almonds are partly blamed for draughts and wildfires as they need a lot of water to grow, should I stop eating almonds at all or buy almonds grown in any other country? This goes for all food products and everything else you purchase, not just vegan food, and btw, vegetarian here, never even seen quinoa.
on number 2 you say its gross but in the wild they are ripped limb by limb alive by other animals. On number 4 ,war is war and will stay that way and sorry if it triggers you the the native people didn't beat the settlers. honestly I just like thanks giving for the family and the tradition.
She's still gonna think it's gross to have it on her dinner table regadless of what wild animals do, so your point has no substance or for that matter disprove or discredit her opinion, also fuck your genocide-apologetic rhetoric, it's disgusting.
1) her opinion is her opinion that's fine even if I and everyone I know thinks it stupid. 2) what the settlers did was wrong, they should have never taken American land, but they did and once again I'm sorry if you don't like the fact that the natives were underprepared to fight. 3) Also, fuck you if you think I'm apologizing for genocide.

I love the traditions our family enjoys at Thanksgiving. Just having family together is a blessing and throw in all our favorite foods and pies and, well, it doesn't get better than that. Also, there is no pressure about gifts. It's my favorite holiday.
I get the whole food thing as well as cleaning thing for disliking thanksgiving but for me it's one of my favorite holidays! Not because of the food because tbh I'm not really a fan of any of it, but because it's the one and only time of year I get to see a certain side of my family and they're really cool. My cousin and I talk everyday online but it's nice for us to actually see each other irl and to talk and nerd out. I have NO ONE who's nerdy like I am so it's nice to have someone who's in all the same fandoms to talk to.
I like Thanksgiving in spite of the historical origins because I actually find it to be less consumer based than other calendar holidays. As an atheist I enjoy not having people verbally assault me for wishing them a happy Thanksgiving instead of a merry one.. I like not feeling obligated to exchange gifts. I like not having to decorate or perpetuate the belief of magical entities to children. It's just inviting as many family and friends as I can cram into my house and cooking a big meal for everyone I love. Love it.
Sarah T Happy thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas. May God bless you. Please take the time to remember that Christmas is about celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Oops, I forgot to add a trigger warning. Trigger warning.
Jack E. Chang the materialistic Christmas that you're describing was invented much later than Christians celebrating Christ's birth. the Advent of the Jolly fat man as Santa Claus in 1931 by coca cola. That was when materialistic Christmas became a thing... And the people you were around when you were young sound like some serious spoiled pieces of shit! I'd try finding new folks to surround myself with.
So a jewess convinced you to hate yourself, and your culture ? sad Do some actual research, instead of listening to liberal antiwhite propaganda on youtube.
Imagine being an over-priveged “celebrity” and whining about something like Thanksgiving offending you. You play a whiny character on TV. WOW! Such range!! You people make me sick. Get off your pedestal.
Ok 1)The pilgrims didn't even pillage any villages from the natives. They found an *ABANDONED* Village and made their home there. 2) Natives had committed atrocious acts against each other for thousands of years. 3) They died from diseases because they hadn't had an interconnected relationship to other civilizations like the Eurasian Steppe had. 4)Yes, We killed natives but, they killed our ancestors too. That's just how war works. 5) If you don't like the fact that we "stole" land from natives then you can leave the country. No one is forcing you to live here.
Happy Thanksgiving Day, Mayim. I am grateful for the many blessings I have in my life, and I am thankful to have gotten hooked in on Big Bang Theory. I don't have a pay channel to binge watch the series, but that is on my list for when I get out of this financial rut. Your Amy Farrah Fowler is my favorite character, honestly. My interest in you and your story has been piqued by how truly intelligent you are under the veneer of acting. I love to make apple pie for my contribution to a pot luck style TG dinner (I really am not a big fan of pumpkin pie). How does one make Vegan crust? What is a good substitute for butter?
So why don’t we: eat less, have no turkey (I’m vegan too!), use paper plates and utensils and team clean, and finally rewrite what we want Thanksgiving to be - about family and thankfulness. Love your videos Mayim!!
When I think of Thanksgiving, I'm thinking of when pilgrims and natives set their differences aside and had a nice peaceful meal together and being thankful for what I have. But I guess I'm just a normal person.
I am so glad you did a flipside as to what you liked about the holiday. Although Turkey is tradition, I really feel that it is about getting together with family to share a meal (could be pizza or whatever) and to be mindful of why we should be thankful for what we have.
1) Copious amounts if alcohol and food? I know some people who overeat at thanksgiving but not "copious" (wjat ecactly is that?) If she is so anti overeating how did she get that body mass? And what types of people does she associate with besides drunkards and gluttons. 2)"The poor turkey raised on steroids so that they are so big that they cannot walk" Where dies she get the idea that a 12 to 28 pound turkey cannot walk? What honest lab tests are there to verify. that widespread of steroid use? *) She doesn't eat animals because they are mobile. Yet, she does eat plants that while they cannot walk do move around. That means that she has declared that plants aren't high enough of a lifeform to qualify for enough pity to not be eaten. This is the same criteria used by Europeans to judge the Indians, and by the Indians so as to annihilate other Indians. It seems that if you travel a shorter distance to wipe out a people it's not genocide. Just research the news; there is a pretty powerful war of genocide being waged against the Western Culture. 3) Jewish "thanksgiving" in the fall? I must be misinformed, I thought that Jewish thanksgiving was in the spring and was called "Passover.???

@@justgoogle-it6485 What??? She's a Jew, idiot!!!
Do you feel the same way about Israel? Just curious
Everything Mayim Bialik said is true. Nothing to do with Israel.
More indigenous peoples were killed by the Europeans in colonizing the America's than by the Nazi's. Many of those people reject Thanksgiving commemorations for those reasons

She's so bat shit crazy, she makes my 80 year old mother with vascular dementia seem normal
then don't come here . I think she's perfect in every aspect!
yass was watching tbbt but then mayim uploaded 😂😄
Wow you must be fun at parties? Don't wanna turkey? Don't eat one! Don't wanna be thankful for abundance of the harvest season? Don't celebrate...anything! But don't gripe about all the people who want to celebrate with their families and stuff their faces with turkey and cornbread stuffing....now pass the pie and Happy Thanksgiving!
JennFredd not interested in cordial dialogue about true history, don't watch the video, dont participate. 😐😑😐
This person seems horrible
JennFredd - Well said!
SHON3Nknife lmao she is the one ignoring history. The majority of indians were ruthless and violent. Also humans eat meat ans have so for thousands of years because our body needs it. Just because it hurts your feelings to say that doesnt mean its not true.

I LOVE Mark Dice. He makes fun of these people who want to change our traditions/holidays.
Im 6 and half months pregnant and have a hard time gaining weight so I'm going to take every advantage of eating every thing i can 😂 but i absolutly love being with family that's the best about the holiday
Congrats on your pregnancy! I'm due February 19!
Congrats
Ironic that you say you don't like Thanksgiving because it is "excessive" but you get REALLY excited about Macey's announcing it is time to shop for Christmas.
And your historical ignorance is embarrassing.
I can't believe Michael left you, you seem to be such thoughtful and reasoned person...
Mayim Bialik If you moved to Canada I would be thankful
I love to see Ana's drawing on the video *jealous mode on*
Regina rgbcn yeas!
*sobs and hates myself for being jealous* -- also we don't celebrate thanksgiving, right Selina? And I partially agree with Mayim about the cons of (in general) lots of traditions. I don't celebrate a lot of traditions, to be honest.
Thanks girls! oh my, this is super exciting!!
IKR??? I keep spotting the drawing all the time, on stories, on the video.... lol, congrats gurl!
Everytime you are the first and everytime I feel like the first time you told me Mayim reposted my drawing! *so much feelings*
Thank you once again for being you! I agree with you on being over it! lol. My kids are grown, but I was so thankful for them coming home just to be with me that day. Keep being you!
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. 😊
I'm a Cherokee, of British ancestry, who is married to a Jew, raising a Christian family, who just listened to another celebrity describe Thanksgiving as a decimation of indigenous culture. Here are a few fun facts to ponder, Mayim:
Reminds me, I need to get a new lampshade.
James Coffey Her #3 & 4 example are the real reason. The excess of the Macy's parade is worse.
James Coffey Don't like this video, don't watch it.
Wait...you just wanted to voice your opinion. Well you am Mayim both.
James Coffey Thank you for an awesome human being. Sending positive thoughts for your partner’s health.
I give thanks to all of my ancestors that through their unimaginable hardships and sacrifices have given me the opportunity to be alive today. ;)
No thanksgiving in Australia and I give thanks to that 😊

*Four days later "My Favorite Thanksgiving Recipe"*
Yeah what the hell is that all about??
She’s nuts.
if she has a favorite meal doesn't mean that she agrees or likes celebrating this holiday.
Actually I love gobbling it up!
I like the idea of it being a Harvest dinner or festival. Without all the compulsory meat eating

Journalist perhaps? But we'll put..the best response I've seen on most subjects.
"Surrounded by people that I love and seem to love me back." You're the psychologist, Mayim. What does that mean? I thought only I felt that way!

Hahahaha brilliant
BleedBNG This is one of the best replies I’ve ever read.
Exactly!
Let's hear some critique of your Jewish holidays
a christian saying these things about a jewish holiday would be an illegal hate crime.
And so many more.
so where is the laugh track at?
this is definitely comedy gold
Love you for your strong stance against animal cruelty.
Hate her for her strong stance against normal white people. Not needed... 🙄
A leftist doesn't like thanksgiving, gee what a surprise.
Come to Spain. We don't have thanksgiving at all...
Pero tu de qué puñetas hablas?
Did you travel in time? That was centuries ago...
Ammmm... Emmmm... Get a life. You don't know shit about Spain.

She's not big on torturing animals though (bull fighting).
If it wasn't the English pilgrims, it would have been the Spanish or French that would have taken the land by force.

@Andrew Christopher yep yep, Black Americans should also shut up about slavery and stop blaming a group of people for their setbacks.
As a Native American, we call it Survivor Supper.
LOL
this is an excellent video! So refreshing. So honest... and I totally relate!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
I’m so thankful to have been able to purchase tickets to see you speak in Orlando this April!
Another 4 minutes of my life I'll never get back. She probably hates Easter because it exploits bunny rabbits.
I do!
"Your tradition of killing animals"... did she just say that???
Why is there not a 'love' button for your videos? Especially this one. Seriously. Love. Thank you.
Didn't the US help save millions of Jews during WW2? It might be time to start being proud of our culture. Stupid hurts.
on number 2 you say its gross but in the wild they are ripped limb by limb alive by other animals.

Thanksgiving is pretty bloody ironic.
I love the traditions our family enjoys at Thanksgiving. Just having family together is a blessing and throw in all our favorite foods and pies and, well, it doesn't get better than that. Also, there is no pressure about gifts. It's my favorite holiday.
I will not watch the Big Bang Theory anymore. Or anything else you decide to act in.

I think we need to start having a serious discussion about "Celebrity Privilege", and how can get celebrities to mind it.
Merry christmas to you!
Mayim, thats what you guys do for Passover - overeating including meat.
Will this Jew call out Israel for Palestinian genocide?
honestly I dont care for thanksgiving itself I just love to cook and make good food. I agree 1000% with you on all these points.
So a jewess convinced you to hate yourself, and your culture ? sad
Do some actual research, instead of listening to liberal antiwhite propaganda on youtube.

Shut up don't be rude
Ok 1)The pilgrims didn't even pillage any villages from the natives. They found an *ABANDONED* Village and made their home there.
2) Natives had committed atrocious acts against each other for thousands of years.
3) They died from diseases because they hadn't had an interconnected relationship to other civilizations like the Eurasian Steppe had.
4)Yes, We killed natives but, they killed our ancestors too. That's just how war works.
5) If you don't like the fact that we "stole" land from natives then you can leave the country. No one is forcing you to live here.

You literally do in #2 what you claim to hate about #1. Except killing a turkey 🦃 of course.
Jesus, now you're stretching trying to find some reason to dislike everything! Get over yourself
IM VEGAN TOO!!! LOOK AT ME IM VEEEEEEEEGAN TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! YAY! WE HAVE AN EATING DISORDER IN COMMON!!!!!
When I think of Thanksgiving, I'm thinking of when pilgrims and natives set their differences aside and had a nice peaceful meal together and being thankful for what I have. But I guess I'm just a normal person.
A normal person who believe all the b.s. history book crap they teach in school and on Hallmark shows.
I am so glad you did a flipside as to what you liked about the holiday. Although Turkey is tradition, I really feel that it is about getting together with family to share a meal (could be pizza or whatever) and to be mindful of why we should be thankful for what we have.
Where is your video on Passover?
"Copious" simply means "large". She's already too chunky to have Thanksgiving (recent The Big Bang Theory episodes show that she has gained weight).
they are stuffing her clothing on TBBT. she´s not fat by any means.. don´t be rude just because she has different opinions than you do. it´s her life, she can do and celebrate whatever she wants.
In 🇨🇦, we celebrate thanksgiving in late October. Our celebration is about giving thanks for another harvest. Of family’s and communities coming together in the celebration.
Can you please enlighten us about ongoing genocide of Palestinians by Jewish settlers from Europe?!
Yeah Muslims don't kill anyone who disagrees with them , they self combost so Muslims can go to heaven.
I am sorry for your existence
