Soulless 1: A damn soulless song that will kill your ears. Soulless 2: Another soulless song, but at least a bit enjoyable. Soulless 3: A song with soul that has the ambience of a soulless world, where only machines exist. Perfect for some Sci-Fi robot apocalypse movie soundtrack. Soulless 4: The same as the third song. Perfect for the sequel's soundtrack. Soulless 5: Soulful 1. Completely enjoyable. What the heck, why is it even a Soulless? It's way too good to be one.
I honestly think there are two things that make Soulless a Soulless song: 1). the semi-constant dark feeling of the songs themselves 2.) the relative difficulty of the sections, especially in specific songs (4 + 5 + 2) that will leave you grinding them for hours or days or even longer on end until you reach or near insanity trying to hit them in a real run (such as with Darkly for instance).
soulless 2 isnt enjoyable wdym also i honestly like soulless 1 except for the part midway through where theres barely any song (we all know what part im talking about)

Unlike the previous 5 soullesses (soulless 6 was made before 4), which were carried with a feeling of tension and danger, this one sparks ultimacy while keeping a feeling of intensity. Some of these sections feels somewhat melancolic, like Thieves, some are just pure insanity (Writhing Solo), and then you have the ones that just feels like "LET'S GO LET'S GET IT" (Escalate, Murderous Solo)... I never even knew that much of GH or CH before I found out about r0, and I can't be happier to know about it. Emotions that are delivered through instrumental melodies rather than lyrical always have a sweet spot that just hits hard when you just get it. This is just a model to what a memorable song is, no matter how many times you hear it, it's just the best shit every time.
