Thanks Gordon! I’m currently retaking my A levels and have applied to study law at university. Your videos have really helped me gain a more clear insight into the degree :)
in my second year rn and this is the worst time of the year when you need to apply fro vac schemes but have no clue where to start, this video was really helpful and will hopefully make my application stand out!! thank you
Gordon!!! Your youtube channel is a wealth of insight!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a hand!! Love from a confused penultimate year law student from a tiny country called Bahrain xxx
Thank you so much for keeping up the great work! I'm very interested in how you published articles in law journals. I know that it is not really leading in the polls, but I'd like to ask you to keep it as an option for your polls. 💪
Super helpful video 🙌🏼 for the future I recommend you record your screen rather than film it with your camera, you can use QuickTime Screenrecording for that ☺️
Great video Gordon, took away some really really useful tips! One thing I thought of sharing is perhaps "screen recording" ur Mac for such contents. If you are using Mac, you could use "QuickTimePlayer" (should be pre-installed on ur Mac) - - > file - - > New screen recording. Looking forward to checking out more great contents from you!
I really enjoyed this video Gordon. Really good content about how to research law firms. This makes my research going forward my structured and increasing my chances of getting a training contract. Look forward to more videos such as this.
Hey Gordon I wanted to ask should you do LPC/ SQE first then training contract or apply for training contract and do the training contract and the LPC/ SQE at the same time?
Very true, but sometimes if you find a topic interesting, try to search the same title on google as other platforms may publish articles on similar topics!

Hey Gordon I wanted to ask should you do LPC/ SQE first then training contract or apply for training contract and do the training contract and the LPC/ SQE at the same time?
Ideally, it would be great if you secure a TC first as they may sponsor you to do the relevant course
Does the US based law firms follow the alevel grade requirement strictly
I think some firms do but some firms will allow you to specify your mitigating circumstances
What if a person falls below the alevel requirement but has excelled in other things
I heard that there are people who got bad A-levels but compensated for it by having great work experiences - so it's not impossible
How do you know if the firm sponsors international students ?
You can check out the tier 2 sponsor list from the U.K. government website!
👍👍👍
Thanks!
Really helpful, thanks Gordon! Please check your LinkedIn.
Thank you for your words, sure!
You need a subscription to the Lawyer though? :(
