Im gonna be real with you guys - I'd be willing to bet that they did Metroid Prime Remastered just so Retro Studios could nail the art style if the original game. And that would be fine with me.
@@wrosebrock Well, for one thing, it's been a hot minute since Retro Studios did anything with the Prime series. Second, the actual people who worked on any of the Prime games are long gone. So yeah. Metroid Prime Remastered is a crash-course on what we loved about the original.
I am surprised they decided to make Sylux a main antagonist this time. He only appeared in Metroid Prime Hunters and now they are giving him a larger role with this game.
He also appeared at the end of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption if you get 100%, tailing Samus's ship as she flies off. And in Federation Force (like it or not it is canon), Sylux breaks into a Federation lab and gets a Metroid from an egg. Basically he was always intended to be the main antagonist of the next Prime game. Just took a long time to get here.
He says "That's _fine."_
I hear "I've waited so long with nothing. If you're giving me a date, a little more will feel like nothing to me."
Now a new Metroid and Doom game is something to really celebrate for.
So excited 😭. I feel so old because Prime 3 came out in like 2007 when I had just started high school lol.

Not sure what you mean? Retro did all the Prime games. They were not originally supposed to do 4 until bandai couldn't deliver.

@@et3inuyasha ok I see now, however pretty sure at least some of the old staff are still there
