She had me until her example of why couples grow apart. Who runs a business for months without telling their spouse... in a normal relationship.
Truth is, you can love your sister through her transformations and accept it easily because you are not one unit like you and your spouse are. Your sister's choices don't necessarily affect your life, your children's life.
Your spouse on the other hand is like your other half so when you aren't growing in the same direction, it hits deeper.

Beautiful conversation honestly. I just want to also add that there was never a time in the Bible where Paul or any of the apostles were misogynistic. I think it’s important to realize that the Bible was written for you and not to you directly and so it affected the pressing issues faced by each church at the time. Paul did not say the same thing to the church in Ephesus and Corinth but there was a common theme which is/was holding unto Jesus, accepting the life he has given you and how you can grow in it.
By this I mean that, Paul saying the women should not talk in open places wasn’t coming from a misogynistic perspective but to honestly ensure orderliness because a report had gotten to him about the women in that church and how it was a mess because of their disorderliness. I hope this rectifies the notion.

Toke I love your frames.Bimbo it’s about communication. The Bible says “the man and his wife were both naked and not ashamed”, this meant they were open with each other and not ashamed. Our different backgrounds mean we need to communicate a lot as men and women are wired differently. I have been married for thirty years and I realize how important openness is in a marriage. One party must not love money, the live of money is the root of all evil. Work together to build a future. Remember NOT all marriages are made in heaven, some are set up in hellfire. If your marriage involves DV and the like, it may have been set up in hellfire.
