Jake do you think if the rain is light during the day today or thursday that MLB could push the game times to early in the day?
Would love to sit Arcia to give him a break and be able to clear his head whether it’s gio or Whit at ss because his at bats are horrible and now over the last 2 1/2 - 3 weeks is effecting his defense as well! He still at times makes some good plays but plays he normally makes has botched a bunch!

Both Urshela and Merrifield have been below average defenders at shortstop thur far in their careers, I doubt that's going to change. I'm not sure what you're seeing on defense from Arcia, but most would disagree with your assessment of it, and the metrics do as well.
We saw in the Phillies vs Braves last Sunday came in Philadelphia that Merrifield and Arcia not having much experience together cost Atlanta from being able to turn a double play which would have caused that game to go 1 more inning at least. I don' t think with 5 games left the Braves are going make a major defensive change at shortstop. The Braves have liked Arcia's defense for the last 2 years and he has much experience with Albies so probably no missed double plays
Nah, you can't sit your starting shortstop in a playoff race, especially one who has proven himself to be a big asset defensively. He made an error tonight but then immediately made up for it with a stellar play. And I would LOVE to get little Acuna too, man, that would be so awesome. Especially seeing as how we do need a SS for the future.
Awesome start however fhe weather could force make up games. And i dont know about you. Jake. I dont want any makeup games. I just want this series to play out and know where we stand vs royals. I dont want to have to wait until monday. Maybe if rains out today rain holds up for a DH Thursday
