If you haven't tried the campaign, I highly recommend it. The story is great, it is beautifully made visually and mechanically, and it's a great way to get used to the movement.

An animation will play where you steal their battery, then your flung off. You gain a battery, and deal one bar of damage to the now very angry titan 3. When you have a battery, you can rodeo an allied titan to heal them, and give an Hp shield, or enter your own titan to gain the healing effect 4. You can only ever have one battery at a time, if you rodeo a hostile titan while holding a battery, you yeet a grenade in their hole and just do damage 5. When a doomed titan is given a battery they don’t heal out of the doomed state, but they still gain a shield 6. Conserve momentum and go fast as fuck. Maybe not the best tactical plan but it’s fun as heck

It is refreshing seeing new players joining in on the game and enjoying it, just work a bit on your movement and you will be all over the place in no-time and having a lot more fun, moving as fast as possible is almost more fun than getting kills in my opinion. What helped me with my movement was the gauntlet and messing around in a privat game just to get the hops and wallruns down. And don't get overwhelmed with other players insane movements, we have all been new at some point, keep it up man!
Sharp aim man, good for mid range to long range, ain't going to be too useful up close. I recommend a reactionary punch if they really up close, or practice shooting hip fire at close range. I also recommend the campaign to get better at the basics of movement. And with the more aim oriented style movement can help you find targets and roam around the map
With Ion I recommend ALWAYS aiming dowsights, also, you may want to bait enemy attacks, by flashing your shield, on and off, that'll normally bait players who stop shooting. Or use smoke to avoid them. Additionally, the grapple is GREAT for flinging, if you grapple a corner, and Hold D, that'll throw you a good-bit.

@@VroomNDoom2602 if you hit the whole mag then yeah you do more damage, but for that you have to be close, and that means you wont have a shield and if something else comes you wont have energy to use the vortex shield

It happened at the start of the sales with old G100 coming to stomp the noobs, then left again in the first 3 days, haven't found someone above G30 since then
I get rekt by noobs because they are all playing like cod lol . They all have amped weapons and tones and smart pistols . Mean while I'm running around trying to get the perfect Kraber shots lol . Not to mention the fcking Car they are all using . Sure most of them are cloaked also . Laser shots ya friend dude with iron .

A good rule of thumb is if your feet are touching the ground you’re playing the game wrong.

For your playstyle, I'd actually recommend A-Wall or Pulse Blade. Those would compliment your above average gunplay.

To kill pilots in Ion it's better to use the laser or the melee since most regular players can easily evade your shots
