- Aquarium DIY decorations is on the agenda today. Talking about some of my experiences with them. This is the pond foam I use in the video. It’s aquarium safe and works great. I let it dry for 24 hrs.

my boy Ghost likes to jump and try to bite the food out of my fingers before I've dropped it in. he's a pig, but he's cute. I tried to scoop him with my hand instead of the net and he went full betta shark on my finger lol
Yes they bite out of the four/five that I’ve owned I don’t remember one that didn’t/doesn’t bite. My female molly bites any time I put my hand in there. I initially fed my first by sticking food to my finger and having him jump to get it and now whenever i go to move a decoration he bites me non stop.

Die i put female with him for mating and they were fine until night in the morning i see male tale is like glued or may be female bite so i separate them but he was not eating now i come back from work and found him dead.
You have to domesticate fish just like any other animal unfortunately lol mine would circle my fingers and wrist when i reached in the tank. Not bit yet but he has brushed close to it, i move him away before he does. Yup...I have three freckles on my arm and if I’m doing maintenance he thinks they are fish food and nibbles me!
I had a platy that bit my wrist when I was cleaning the tank, it felt like a pinch and really hurt. I swear there was piranha somewhere in his blood. I have one who tries to jump out of the water and bite my fingers when I feed him. I tested it out one day and sure enough, he just wanted to eat my finger.
Just tried it with mine. I was curious. He got super close to my fingers and just stared at them. The little shit either thought about biting me...or was confused as to why my hand was in his space. question, how long is it ok to have a betta in a small container without filter or heater? went to the store the other day, just to check if they had any hamster tube mystery bags (for our hamsters not our fish lol) i stopped to look at the fish and they had one i have been wanting forever (female koi betta, she is red white and blue)
i left her there because i knew i didnt have a tank ready just yet couldnt stop thinking about her so a few hours later i went back and got her. she is in one of those critter carriers (about a half gallon i believe) i took some gravel, a fake (soft) plant a betta leaf and a moss ball from our 10G and got a small planter pot for a hide. im hoping to have a bigger tank ready in a week or two. will she be ok untill then?

putting her in our 10gallon is not an option because we have a male betta in there and i dont own a divider. i know its not the best setup by a long shot. but i figured it was better than her little cup in the store. I just would hold off feeding her for a few days she may be constipated. And if the swell doesn't go down feed her a thawed frozen green pea with the skin off boil it for one minute and run under cold water before giving to her and it will make her.

Ha! I live a five minute walk from the north shore of Manitoulin Island. I could fill an NFL stadium with free driftwood, if I wanted to. I like terracotta as well.
What paints are fish safe? If you paint something do you need to coat it in anything special?
All plasti dip sprays are safe!
And the Island is mostly Dolomite sandstone which used to be ocean floor, and coastline hundreds of millions of years ago. Hence the fossils, and inevitable incredibly hard water. It is literally off the chart hardness.
Is this spray fish safe though?

I love your videos!!! I literally bought some terracotta pots 2 weeks ago and decorated them. I used aquarium silicone and covered in sand and small stones. The stone effect looks great. I Love Avery (hope that's spelt correctly) she's a daddies girl like i was ☺. Love your videos too.

it's all about nerf yeah u can't just put tree branches in I bought a piece of wood from a store and it was for reptiles put it in my tank damn it ruined my water grew fungi and smelled so bad had to take it out and buy a proper bit for aquariums!

Same, I don’t have enough money to spend on fish tank decor that’s so expensive so I’m using DIY videos to find a cheaper way. I spent around $100 bucks on decor for my fish tanks (2 fish tanks and they were small) and I don’t have that kind of money I can throw around anymore
