Alaura Loveless No, it;'s not. Earlier battlefield games had an offline Skirmish mode vs bots. Bad Company started the Single Player story thing, which is fine if they kept it to the Bad Company series.

+Shaye Bigelow Yes. Besides just for teamwork, following orders and palying as squad/team gives you actually very large score. In few games, when I was not doing good with gunfights, I still ended up in top of scoreboard just for simply following orders.

Pan Asian Coalition was most likely created by Russia and Chinese were first to join, as we see in BF4 early stages of PAC and they are speaking in Russian, including also in 2142. Only part we see from China and other Asian countries are some vehicles, who have names beggining with indication "Type". Russia calls tanks by indication of "T".

European Union was Europe as well as the USA as the US was hit hardest by the approaching ice, they allied with the EU.
There was also the African Union mentioned in a loading screen and the South American coalition.
A battlefield 2143 could be so good if it expanded on these tid bits.
I think BF4 is better than BF1. For some reason I like the original BF3 BF4 feel for like the progression system. I think the modern era is better than WW1.

This was such a fantastic DLC, I'm glad this game still gets played. Maybe after BF1 is over EA ought to start doing themed Battlefields with other properties or licensed stuff.

@@tranvietanh1851 Totally... You know, I would rather had them remake BF 2142. The setup was there with this being the last DLC launched for a modern BF title. But no, they had to go for a hero shooter; specialists, heavily biassed towards a BR and stuff... Worts thing of all, the DICE that made these masterpieces (BC, BC2, BF3 and 4 and all their DLCs) is no more.

I wish so bad these maps were straight up ported to 2042, these are some of my fav maps from bf4
All these DLC trailers together make a pretty good storyline(Maybe China rising is a bit out of place and should be more together with dragon's teeth). After the events of vanilla maps American's found themselves in China(China rising) then battles in the middle east with Russia(Second assault). After that a naval battle with the Chinese followed(Naval strike) which the US ultimately won and landed more forces in China/NK(Dragon's teeth). And then Russians made their last stand in Russia(Final stand), results unknown.

This trailer doesn't get me same felling after 2022 UA-RU war.
I imagined Russia showing some super-secret-futuristic weapon system...In place, we got 50s" weapons firing ton of munition and invoking luck to hit their targets

Still my favorite and most played game to date.
BF3 and 4. DICE perfected a balanced multi roles warfare game, then they fucked it up in BFV. Most gamers are simple, just leave us the tools on the battlefield, we’l do the rest, there’s no need to add flare and deliberately be stingy on vehicles.

Tbh they should've carried bf 2042 with this dlc and in bf 2042 the rail gun, hover tank, drop pod would have looked different and like a finish production and these in bf4 where the pre production phase of the future equipment

Can only be obtain if you got the DLC and the rank of colonel 100. They actually made a reference to BFF in the description: no buckets required.

The BF wiki. It says the HT-95 Levkov is possibly a prototype for the Type 32 Nekomata if true 2142 and BF4 are in the same universe. And there are other stuff supporting this theory.

If you were in the hint on the phantom program you will really understand and see how DICE made the multiplayer have a lore and connect it to 2142 , so yes Final stand is a prequel to 2142 and the map Hanger is were the first TITAN were built .
From the phantom we understand that USA and Russia were fighting for this Titans and they include china as well .

the hover tank is kinda a good idea, it can't be destroyed by mines, it's movement would be great, the only con would be that it's expensive

+Unknown Freedom could be a motion sensor mine. Also, the fuel coming out of the bottom of the tank could press down the land mine if it's able to hold up that beast.
