I think I just hate all 9x39 guns in this game, the low velocity, low magazine size, high price and high unlock level requirement are all deal breakers for me, rather just get an AK and have it fully kitted out by the end game, much better than a half assed as val
I can agree with low velocity, high price and high unlock level but low magazines are common for security lvl 4 for example FAL and M14. Even lvl 5 FN17 has a magazine with an ammo capacity of 20. They could improve weapons from 9x39 by lowering security level requirements and lowering prices by 1000$. I can also agree with AK. Recently I played with M4 and I came to the conclusion that AK weapons are much better than M4 and AUG. I compared AK-74M with M4A1 and AK-74 with AUG. AK Rifles are winning without sweat 😅
@@RAFAELLO_13 I don't really mind the lower magazine size with the SCAR-H, M14 or FN FAL because of the sheer damage and penetration these guns have, but I'll take a fully modded AK-74M over anything else in this game, the scar is incredibly powerful, but almost seems boring because of that, not to mention that in order to get it I'd need to save every penny and do a lot of side quests
@Vesper I just finished playing with FN17/SCAR-H (played with it for 3 hours) and I can not recommend this gun. Because of one reason you mention is just a too powerful weapon that makes it boring. I think I just killed the seeker from 250m it was satisfying but at the same time I realized how f*ck up this weapon is. It's supposed to be an assault rifle not a sniper rifle. Of course taking out armored enemies with headshots is also satisfying but there are a lot of other weapons that make the game more challenging and funnier(like PPSH, Mosin, spas-12 and revolver) About the price. YES it's very expensive 12 000$ it's a lot for only a weapon and let's say you want 4 mags and an upgrade for recoil that makes a total of 15 550$ plus box of ammunition which is 3240$ so almost 20 000$ for this weapon. I'm not counting suppressors, laser, flashlight and scopes ;-; I think it took me 5/6 hours to collect this amount of money which is hard to do when I have VR headset with battery. (Only 2 hours of playing) And one thing worth of mention I bought this gun after 100hours of playing ;-;
@@Vesper- Personally I quite enjoy the Val. The integral suppressor is a massive help when dealing with early game stealth. The biggest thing is the fire rate for me. Being able to choose between essentially a sniper rifle and an SMG has saved by butt from being eaten by sliders before. I don't play like most people though, and instead of going in guns blazing I take a more "American sniper" approach to firefights. Stay outta sight, stay outta mind
Well they are better but the problem is with one shooting enemies and the price of those weapons. Killing enemies in one shot became boring for me in a few hours (Ofc not counting dvl-10 cause it's a sniper rifle). The value of guns is also a problem. To buy FN17(SCAR-H) I spent 5/6 hours to collect money for it, magazines, ammunition and upgrade. ( I'm not counting scopes, laser and flashlight). For FAL M14 and DVL-10 it also took me a while to collect money for them. But whose weapons are end game weapons so they need to be powerful.

Well they lowered the lvl requirement for 9x39 weapons in ITR 2 ;)

I honestly think the 7.62x51 guns are better imo
