When I calculated the displacement from time 30 to time 50 the answer was a negative number. So does that mean she was travelling in the opposite direction when she was retarding?
To calculate the total displacement we I guess have to first find the displacement covered while accelerating then the displacement covered while moving at a constant speed then the displacement travelled while decelerating. The displacement while decelerating is a negative number, so when we add the three values the answer which we have is a negative number. So does that mean she was travelling in the opposite direction of her reference point from the Origin?
