You are a lifesaver, my storage space was near full when exporting two 1+hour after effects animations so being able to reduce 89GB each to 17GB each with the same high quality worked wonders.
GENUINELY THANK YOU SO MUCH. NO ONE ELSE WANTED TO MAKE A VIDEO ON THIS AND FOR DAYS IVE BEEN UNABLE TO POST MY EDITS AND AMVS BECAUSE OF THE GB PROBLEM. THANK YOUUU!!!
I followed your instructions step by step. Because I had the space and because I wanted to compare the quality, I rendered another version with ther settings I always use: Render setttings: Best settings Output module: AVI file, RGB + Alpha Your method made the movie twice as big as my usual settings. Thankyou you are great.
Thank you so much! I almost had a fit when I saw an 11 second animation I made was over 10gb, this is straight to the point and now I can email easily!
Adobe Media Encoder is great, but you can also do this without AME with similar results: Choose H.264 as Output module. In its settings choose CBR, profile: Main, Level: 4.0. This is important, 5.0 will have small file size, but 4 will even be smaller with the same quality. 3 also works, but I use 4 as the size difference is negligible. Do not go to 2 or lower. But for the bitrate, you can go as low as 2.
Amazing tutorial man! You got yourself a new subscriber. I have a question - do you perhaps know why it happens that when I hit space to preview my file in after effects 2020, my audio stutters at one point and after that it just continues normaly? Thank you in advance!
stcommet505 thank you so much! That could simply just be due to it rendering. If your computer is struggling to keep up, it will play your video and audio much slower than normal at certain points. Try changing your preview quality from full to 1/4

very helpful vid sir!
i was wondering if there is any app on android that exports high quality vid with low file size?
thank you sir!
What if i render it twice in media encoder , after rendering it and rendering it again in media encoder
Thank you so much! I've been struggling about the bigger file size from after effects since last year. It really works!

I don't have any settings for the encoder output module... it's grayed out
i have no idea what you mean by "Main" as I do not see that in ANY of the output options in AE's Render Que.
