I didn't like the steep fork angle on the Rebel 250 in the M.O.B. course (Motorcycle Ohio Beginner's) course. Another Facebook cycle group member that was an MSF trainer noted that most folks who dropped the bike were on the Rebel 250. My V Star 250 has a slightly shallower fork angle and handles better. Albeit rather quickly. But they didn't have any in the M.O.B. class range days.
It's not the size of the R6 engine or bike. It's the clip on handlebars, steering geometry, and seating position. R6 is set up for stability leaning into a turn at 100mph - not low speed maneuverability
