Das ist so so schön. Danke, auch und vor allem für`s Reinschneiden der "unschönen" Szenen. Ich glaube so ziemlich jeder kennt diese Momente und man denkt dann oft, es sei komplett aussichtslos, wenn das Pferd sich so sperrt und offensichtlich nicht will. Der Trick ist nicht aufzugeben und neue Wege einzuschlagen. Egal, wie lächerlich es am Anfang aussieht, wie oft es schiefgeht und wer darüber lacht. Das Gefühl, wenn einem das Pferd vertraut, ist unbezahlbar. Estella und du sind ein Paradebeispiel dafür.

I am in tears. This means so much to me, has so much meaning at this moment. I will share this with someone that I love dearly and hopefully she will get what she needs from watching and listening to this. Hopefully everyone goes away with something positive and inspiring. I needed this. It's been so daunting to try and get a horse. I keep believing and the dots are beginning to line up. (I just got an extra job offer) Videos like this inspire that passion within me. I just need to fight the fears and other people telling me I can't afford it, I'll leave you...(I'll stay gone now). It's been such a challenge but I know where my heart is most days. With horses.
It may be a ways off, but instead of wishing and talking about it, let's do it! I CAN!

beautiful, breath taking, i don't have any words left. THIS is what is a great relationship. You're not a real rider if you don't fail at times. EVERYBODY falls off and EVERY horse can be stubborn or hard to be with sometimes but that doesn't mean you can't reach your goal with it. You showed that with this video. :) x

Oh my god your videos always make me so emotional! It's really nice to see that Estella wasn't the perfect horse in the beginning, that there is hope out there for the ones with bratty ponies! You've always been a huge inspiration to me, and I hope someday I have even a fraction with one of my horses that you have with yours :)

I've never seen any other horse stand this pround by its owner. You and Estella are so unique!! I'm literally speechless!
I've watched and listened to this video with some frequency over the last 5 years. It has consistently ushered me into a central experience of strength. It impacts me towards hope and ability. If my position has become more dissuaded towards progress, this video has caused me to feel very very worried about my ability to change. Which may invariably be what I need. At any rate, it has been a major part of the positive progress in my life. For a 5:00 min video to play a big role in anyone's life is rare, a truly major accomplishment. After looking through the comments, I was pleasantly surprised to see many people who feel the same way. I am truly thankful and grateful for your work from the bottom of my heart. It has made all the difference.

If you have never had a horse of your own and let them learn you and you learn them to get that bond, you have no idea of what you are missing out of life bc horses are very smart animals that can and will learn to love and trust in what ever you ask of them, and they do it only bc they trust you. The horse love of my life was named Hopper, and I've never doubted that she loved me as much as I loved her. She passed away at 22 years old, I was 40 at that time 25 years ago. A part of my heart died that day, but that love I had for her is still with me today at 65 years old...
I've had a couple of other horses since Hopper, but humans had ruined them before I got them and trusting a human totally just wasn't going to happen for them. When I gave them to other people I trusted to be good to them, I got rid of everything needed to take care of a horse bc I believed that I didn't have enough time left on earth myself to train another colt and be able to keep them through their life time before I reach the end of my life, and i didn't want to risk leaving them and they end up with someone that wouldn't care for them the same as I would. As far as Veterinarian care has gotten for our animals, and horse these days, they can live to be about 30 years old, and I felt that when I made the decision not to find another colt to train and raise, I didn't want to gamble on me having 30 more years of life to give to another horse that I'm sure I would have love the way that I loved my Hopper.
But at 65 now and doing good health wise, I may have been wrong, and now I wish that I would have taken the gamble and found me another colt to give 30 years of my life to. If I had, that would have been another horse that would have had a great happy life. My biggest point here is, if you have a animal in your life regardless of what type of animal you have, give it or them the best life that you can. The rewards from them is just an awesome feeling bc, they can and will love and trust you back unconditionally if you're never mean to them!!!! Animals do not have to ever be abused to train them to do anything you ask of them bc, the only way they will ever learn what you ask of them is through repetition and doing it the same way ever time. And remember this, most animals can only learn one or two words at a time, so sentences are a waste of time and confusing to them when you are training them!!! If you want to have a conversation with them, do it when they're not in training bc they will never understand the conversations that you having with them, but they will listen as if they know everything you're saying, and they will love regardless bc those conversations to them are, they are getting some attention from you, and they love that. God gave us animals bc he knew we would always need something we can trust, love, and believe in, and favorite animals are that to us all that have and love them!!!!
