I've bought my Dominator exactly 27 years ago!! it's still my only motorcycle all these years! i've made my first trip when i was only 20 years old from Greece to Italy alone. Now after watching this video i want to go further! thanks for the beautiful video about the beloved Nx650. I'm an old school guy and i just love this!!!!
Beside the great adventure and the magnificent sceneries I am impressed by the staging, the camera work, the drone shots and the professional editing. I will learn from it. And Iceland is definitely on my list, now. Thanks, Marc
Hi Marc, Thoroughly enjoyed the camera work. It's these wonderful vistas which make you want to get on your bike and just hit the road! On minute '19 you almost had me shouting: "Marc, stop cranking! It's the kill button! Switch it off!" ; )
Thanks mate, appreciate it! You know the weird thing is, it helped to fire her up to switch it on and off again in between cranking. It would always have a little fire after I done that. Weird huh? Anyways, I got her going again 🙌🏼
Hi Marc, in my opinion you are the best motorcycle traveler on youtube at the moment, the videos are great and of great quality. Iceland is my dream and your reportage kept me hooked on the video for the duration. A thousand thanks!

Hi there Marc, very happy to see that you enjoyed your stay here in Iceland. Great video as well. Seems like you managed to cover quite a bit of the island in a relatively short time. Hope you will be able to visit again. I have to though discourage anyone from walking on the lava field. There is a crust on top but it varies greatly in thickness, in some places only 2 or 3 centimeters but it looks no different to thicker crust. Search and Rescue teams and scientists are trying very hard to keep people off the freshly formed lava because of safety reasons. Underneath that crust the lava gets ever hotter and more viscous and eventually just liquid form. If the thin crust breaks underneath then you are falling into ever increasing temperature and there is no way out from that, 3rd degree burns happens in an instant and death will very probably follow. Also one of the dangers on the lava field is poisonous gasses coming off from cracks in the lava. In some places it is so concentrated that you can lose conciousness within few seconds or even without you realizing it. But regardless of walking on lava then I hope you will visit again, you left some places off like Landmannalaugar and most of the Fjallabak area. Stunning landscapes and I would think it would very much suit your riding preference. Sprengisandur which is one of the longer highland routes would also suit you well. Just remember to bring some more fuel for that leg... ;) kind regards, Andri Freyr
Hi Marc what an adventure you did amazing on the bike some tough terrain and you sailed through it 👏river crossings where sketchy well done😲. The volcano and glaciers shots were stunning thank you for sharing your adventure. Look forward to seeing your other videos 👍LDT🤣
When you exit the ferry in Seyðisfjörður you can easily see the large wound in the hill, after a large mudslide that happened in December 2020. Largest mudslide to have hit any town in Iceland. It took 10 houses. Luckily most of the area had been evacuated, there had been several mudslides few days earlier so no one got hurt though it was a close one for few people.
Hey Marc! Just watched this again. Such a fantastic trip. Iceland was made for drone shots. The volcano images are absolutely stunning. It’s on my list. Maybe Corsica this year. I might look at an Africa Twin for that. But won’t part with my Domi!

If you need some advice, feel free to ask mate 😉

Hi, I also knew Iceland around on a motorcycle but without off road. I was in 2019 and went from Poland. A nice movie, my next trip will be at OFF Road, because I left a lot of places that I regret now that I did not visit after seeing your movie. greetings Lukas
Awesome work, super interesting shots with the drone, onboard cameras, good music and to hear your story. I am from Iceland and have visited almost all these places (in a car and has taken me 40+ years). You must be quite a tough nut... I find it quite interesting that you never complain about the shitty weather, 5-10°C temperatures one gets in the middle of the "summer" in Iceland. The temperature of the water in those rivers you were crossing is 2-5°C. Then driving on a motorcycle in the high winds we have. Well done my man!
Dude! This is all so epic! Will have to go see it myself someday. Try to stand up on the bike for the tricky bits. it makes it so much easier. Ride safe Marc

Great trip & great video. Love the bike, it brings back memories (I had one 1988 - 1989 & I loved it).
Awesome! Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
Great video sir! Stunning scenery and it was fun to watch all the sketchy water crossings and the gas experience. Keep it up and ride safe.
Thanks man🤗🤙🏼
Loved watching this video, very well put together, took me back to when I rode across North and West Africa on my red Dominator 25 years ago, there was a few times you could have done with a kickstart mine was an `89 last year of the kick start version.
Awesome!🤗 yeah mine is also 89 but somebody changed the engine. It’s from 93 I think. Cheers 🤙🏼
Amazing video Marc, nice post production, very very funny to see. Great job.
Thanks Philippe🤗🤙🏼
Marc du bist einfach eine Coole, Sympathische Socke! Mein Neid um dieses erlebte Abenteuer sei dir gewiss! Sehr Stabiles Video, tolles Motorrad und Hut ab das du das alleine Gefahren hast!

Hi, I also knew Iceland around on a motorcycle but without off road. I was in 2019 and went from Poland.
A nice movie, my next trip will be at OFF Road, because I left a lot of places that I regret now that I did not visit after seeing your movie.
greetings
Lukas
Yeah, go for it! Lot of great stuff to see, I would go again as well🙌🏼 thanks for watching, cheers Marc
Hey man, thanks for watching! It was one month pure excitement for me🤩 best trip of my life! Love Iceland. Hope to come back one day. Cheers mate 🤙🏼
Dude! This is all so epic! Will have to go see it myself someday.
Try to stand up on the bike for the tricky bits. it makes it so much easier. Ride safe Marc
Alrighty, thanks mate 👍🏼🤙🏼
