Every time I want to play it again, I download the game, mod it to Hell and back, then *not* play it and delete it after a month. A game this good shouldn't have to be modded to be good. Just lemme play the vidya
I honestly prefer it without mods, more so than modded Fallout 4. The jank is charming and the story stands enough on it’s own.

We began to use memes not as a weapon, but as a nearly infinite source of humor and communication.
People enjoyed luxuries once thought the realm of science fiction. Domestic robots, fusion-powered cars, portable computers. But then, in the 21st century, people awoke from the American dream. Years of consumption led to shortages of every major meme format. The entire world unraveled. Peace became a distant memory.
It is now the year 2024. We stand on the brink of total meme overload, and I am afraid. For myself, for my followers, for my viral content.
Because if my time in the internet has taught me one thing: it's that memes, memes never change.
Hey slurpmaster, gotta love the fallout 4 intro. Out of all the fallout intros in the franchise. Fallout4 has hands down the best intro. Fight me!!🤷😨fallout fans. Fallout 3 and new vegas are still the two best games though. But the fo4 intro sums the entire franchise in one summary. 👍

Hey appalachism40, Well not All fallout fans appreciate the show. Some minority actually diss the show and call it woke or crap. Others say lucy is a mary sue. What??! That is bullcrap. There is nothing ABOUT HER that is a mary sue. Shes a well written character. Definitely not even CLOSE. not rey material from star wars.
And the biggest complaint is they retcon new vegas or shady sands something like that. Me personally and majority of fans love the show😤🥰👍. I don’t see anything wrong with it other than some cringy dialogue and action scenes. But overall amazing first season.
Halo tv show however, isn’t high quality. Obviously. Many fans know that. 🧐. But how can other game adaptations be good? 🤔

I love the Fallout fanbase because it's generally accepting of all the games in the franchise. Sure, you have the New Vegas mega nerds and the 76 haters, but for the most part, we're all just happy to explore the nuclear wastes, whatever game it may be. Tons of memorable moments worth reminiscing.
Meanwhile, Elder Scrolls fans have no problem verbally crucifying someone just for saying that they prefer Oblivion to Morrowind.

I'm someone who had never really played a Fallout game (though it had always been on the periphery). Then I saw the show and went "I own New Vegas, I should play it."
It is currently becoming one of my favourite games.
Another thing that's making it more popular is that recently a fallout magic the gathering set was released. That's what got me into the video games
I truly love the Fallout TV show. Everything about it is perfectly written and cast to make a truly enjoyable show that builds the characters, the world, the story and the Vault Tec conspiracy plot that's been an integral part to the entire existence of Fallout.
Unfortunately some diehard fallout fans dislike or hate it.
My only complain is the BoS, waaaay too much FO media has them

Thats the only thing I disliked. But I’m hoping that is as previously stated happened so the NCR can get their comeback.

I walked in on my dad watching the show. Grabbed my attention with the amazing details so i watched the whole thing with my wife on a whim. I love when franchises i enjoy make great content and i love it more when my dad who doesn't play games is interested in playing one. Hes not into FPS games but he enjoys turn based strategy (1 & 2). There really is somthing for everyone

The only thing I'm worried about is that the influx of new fans might prompt Bethesda to make the hypothetical "Fallout 5" in the same vein as 4 and 76. These games were originally divisive or just outright hated at first, and with the recent release of Starfield, I don't want Bethesda to push out an inferior product simply because they know they have casual support and recency bias. It wouldn't be fair to the fans, or the IP itself.

At some point the series will be known for its tv show rather than the games, and when bethesda, the money hungry company that it is, catches wind of that, you think will make a newer game that appeals to fans of the older games?
Bethesda was deserving of criticism since fallout 76, and this "complaining" you think Im doing is just describing a phenomenon that happens when a games becomes popular with an audience from another medium, If larian was making fallout instead, I wouldnt worry about these sort of things.

to be fair OG fallout is just difficult to the point of being unfun unless you are a hardcore gamer or know all the tricks. especially the first fallout is hell. most gamers are a lot more casual than in the early 2000s with computers being more widespread and cheaper so more people can play it, which means more people just want a fun experience not "pure suffering in a bottle"
The OG Fallout is the foundation for all of the lore of the other games. So its hardly ignored.

I was already well into my first ever playthrough of the Fallout franchise when the show dropped, so this just makes me enjoy the experience even more! Fallout 3 was awesome, loved the vibe and setting, and it took me some time to get into NV but I'm loving that even more! Started NV back in like November, then burnt out, then came back just before the show dropped.
