Playing with a number of elements and influences, MatricK expertly marries sonics from big room house, techno and even trance in this euphoric new anthem ‘Freak’ from one of Russia’s most sought-after selectors. From the outset, MatricK intiates the track with a thumping kickdrum reminiscent of the trendy big room techno sound that is so popular at the minute. Then, in a welcomed contrast which brings the rest of the track to life, MatricK introduces an uplifting trance bridge, showing Armin van Buuren’s influence on the young producer.
