Why take onslaught? Wouldn't it only be 2.5% brittleness per shot or does it apply per pellet ?
The power sword looks so fun! I've recently started playing veteran and didn't even know a force sword equivalent existed haha
It actually has a pretty cool perk that lets you do multiple empowered attacks before it runs out max of +2 (3 total attacks). Unfortunately it doesn't have a perk that lets you block bullets like force sword.

Modded as far as I'm aware (no idea what the mod is called though sorry!). Devs did say they wanted to put solos in the game officially but no word on when yet.

What's the difference between tje mark 3 and mark 6 energy swords? I use the chains word currently.
moveset is the main difference. The Mk6 is the better version but it takes longer to get proficient with. If block then push then immediately heavy the sword does a thrust attack that pierces armor and does a ton of damage if charged. If you have power cycler you can one combo bulwarks with it.

Buy out green power swords when shop resets > consecrate once to blue. You'll get it pretty quickly doing this.
Do you prefer this mark of power sword or was it just the best one you had?
personally I like mk3 because the heavy is a horizontal cleave which is really good for clearing hordes with weakspot damage. but I usually go ranged focus vet and use sword to save ammo on hordes (in auric5)

Just curious, how do you manage to play solo ? I'm trying to do solo runs but I don't even know how to start one.
Fairly certain it's a mod. Best you can do without it is start a mission with just bots and get them all killed.
@@pwh1981 makes sense, the game doesn't even let me start a private if no other player is on the squad.
If your on console you gotta start with 1 friend do private match and have them leave then get all 3 bots killed.@@crox9106

Yes its a mod. I believe its called True Solo but dont quote me on that.

@@marah4847 The lightattacks on the 6 are far better. I find it to be better, as in pressed situations you dont have time to charge up an attack and get those nice horizontal swings

The lack of slowdown on mk3 charging keeps you more mobile than mk6
@@illuser188 this is the only way i could justify using it over 6 personally but even then that empowered stab is just too good and satisying for me to pass up for me

Before the power sword nerf it used to do 8 charged swings😔
Its a perk you can get on the sword. Power Storage or whatever its called, lets you hold a max of 3 charges again.

Where the hell are your teammates?
invis isn't great with crutchsword; you already 2/3-shot(just have +25% carapace) crushers if you built correctly.
The shout has way more utility, it can stagger monsters(including DH, followed by 3 krak nades) and help push them off a ledge.

Bad weapons?
Auric Maelstrom is like 2 tiers above Damnation. A lot of 'bad weapons' can turn into monsters if you have the correct blessing setup. It's not about his ability to mow down the fodder mobs, it's about dealing with Crusher/Mauler/Rager packs and swiftly killing disablers at the same time.
I guarantee when you learn to Dodge-Slide you'll die a lot less on Heresy.
You'll also pay more attention to the dodge limit on weapons and your stamina.
The solo gameplay isn’t AM afaik
They’re not bad weapons, though they def aren’t BIS. At high difficulty it’s more about your ability to cc and avoid damage. A good player can kite more or less indefinitely if they have room, especially in darktide with how powerful dodge slides are
What is BIS ? At least melee weapon wise it really fells like it is power sword for vet.@@Akarayad
