This is one of the biggest problems with my 2016.5 CX-5! All this to change a headlight assembly. U can forgot about trying to change the front turn signal bulb also..
Now I’ll be ordering new headlights. This is easier than I thought. My 16.5 has 100k miles on it and FL sunlight has damaged visual look of both assembles.

Might as well change the rear-main seal while we're in there.........

No, it has bolts behind the bumper you cant get too
