awesome video. For those who want some extra oomph against bahamut, you can use clouds R1+O/X to counter a projectile on the boss and give half a stagger bar and pressure him. Ive only used it on the flame breath and the mini projectiles so far. it's very useful.

zack's synergy skill can also pressure him and stop particle charge (not really "stop" it, he still uses it, but doesn't charge particles so it's better since he just stands there)
Dude I am having so much trouble getting a pressure on Bahamut after he does Particle Charge. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'll do an air combo with Cloud into Braver to get one wing and Chain Slash on the other wing but sometimes the attack just won't hit the wing and just hit Bahamut instead. Also I was able to use Reraise with Phoenix before he did Gigaflare but he did two attacks then did Gigaflare again like wtf.
Do what I did you need zack to do 2 atb bar spell on one wing and use cloud triple slash twice on the other wing don’t use braver twice cause it has a lot of recovery time try triple slash into beaver on, one wing and for zack use meteor shot on one wing cause his chain slash wont connect the safest best is 2 atb fire spell., I was able to do it one in the video but should have used clouds level 3 limit break the second time if you wanna break a wing using limit break then try cross slash. I all the fights I am keeping a track of the commands I am using as cloud cause every 3 atb command gives cloud a free atb from skill materia so I repeat the 3rd atb command twice so it procs atb assist that way giving zack a atb bar too and always using disorder from cloud in every 3 different command atb cycle cause disorder gives back 75% atb on hit and It happens to be the 3rd one then use the next command twice giving zack a atb boost it doesn’t have to be in quick succession until and and unless its the same command used twice it will proc atb assist. Also for the wing ensure you are locked on to the wing and your character is positioned well to connect the attack or else it will hit bahamuts body not his wing.
@@MinyNeo Scorpions really easy hes got this hidden mechanic where if u hit him with fire and then ice when hes on his back he almost instanlty staggers. the last onefor cait was hard cuz sometimes that purple laser shot one shots you and your dps is low so u just drag it on and slowly take his HP
Nah because you can cheese all of them with a well put together magic build. I think I used enhanced marlboro orb on cait sith and used a lot of time materia & red 13's icexswiftcast/mp/hp absorb was a breeze

Okay so you know when he absorbs the particles? During that time you can destroy his wings. if you want to avoid him using his ultimate it’s CRUCIAL you destroy both wings during that time. If you fail this 2-3 times he will use his ultimate. Every time he absorbs his wings are healed back so you need to destroy them everytime… if you succeed he becomes pressured and stunned for about 10-15 seconds. An easy method is to cast bravery on cloud which will allow his braver to one shot a wing. Keep in mind the hitbox is a big wiffy… you wana be literally next to the wing then attack it. Then quickly move next to the other wing and use braver again on that. Synergy attack pressure him also if I’m not mistaken? Bahamut is definitely the most dangerous in this challenge. If you beat him Odin should be a breeze (by this point in the game parrying should be second nature so he will never cast his ultimate). Edit: when destroy bahamuts wings you are also making him less aggressive. Will stop him just rampaging.
You can make Cloud a damage monster with the right setup. Max out his attack stat with folios and weapon upgrades, give him 2 maxed out luck materias, the strength materia, the enemy skill materia, the Odin summon materia, and equip him with Genji glove. Cast bravery on Cloud with Zack (or have Cloud use sonic boom) and let him cook. One aerial braver is enough to take out each of Bahamuts wings, and an infinity’s end during stagger will do BIG numbers. Of course Cloud can still die quickly, so you have to play smart and use your precise blocks/counterfires to survive. This will be especially important for the final round against Odin.
When you finish Gilgamesh side quest the military will be updated, after finishing all 6 brutal challenges and 7 solo legendary ones you can unblock both Zack and Seph, but those battles are really hard, each of them takes hours of retrying

I dont know Zack gear is changeable pretty sure its locked, I havent solo all the characters yet. Adjusting to Zack and Sephiroth playstyles on hardest bosses is difficult itself
So to reach charge level 2 you need to press triangle after 2 attacks that is square, square, triangle and to reach charge level 3 while you are in charge level 2 you need to press triangle after 3 attacks that is square, square, square, triangle and also every subsequent attack after quick charge also give charge. To know which charge level you are in zacks attack aura will change based on charge level 1 = blue 2 = yellow 3 = red Hope this helps

I'm literally stuck at Odin. All videos I watch, Odin sits there and takes other people's hits without a fuss. I get there every time and he just murders me then Zantets. I cannot beat Odin. Bahamut is easy. Just Darkside + Braver for one hit kills every time. I just can't beat Odin. i don't have enough ATB to keep pressure up because I can't get hits in without him attacking.

Whenever I can find one of those speedrunning uploads from the more competitive gamers, I can understand WHY they are running the builds they are and what areas I could be misplaying or overlooking, and have a much more fulfilled experience. That's just me though.

If i knew how to use zacks quick charge correctly it would be easy, without it i feel like im soloing it with cloud.

I can feel your pain, Yuffi was still manageable, but Caith took me alone around 4 hours to beat it.(Scorpion was the hardest part for me)

Zacks simulation fight is definitely the hardest challenge. Just slightly above rulers of the outer worlds.

How do you unlock zack in the simulator and can you do that with sephiroth

Yeah High beaver is great but so many particles on screen in this game that it becomes difficult to time square during high beaver

I assume you have to quickly press his triangle attack (when it changes to “Quick Charge”) in while you basic.
