Hello everyone! I know it’s been a while but I’ve been super busy over the summer☺️ I’m just sharing some video clips from around the homestead throughout the summer so I hope you enjoy a peaceful and calming video☺️☺️ Are you ready for fall content?? I’m starting on that now I can’t wait to share🍁🍁🍁
You are so incredibly blessed. I know you and your family work very hard to maintain your lovely property, but you make it look effortless! North Carolina's mountains are just breathtaking ❤.
Thank you so much!! We are so very thankful, and despite the hard work and things we never seem to get around to doing, we don’t take any of of it for granted🙏🙏🙏
Good morning Anita! You are such an amazing woman! Your photography is spectacular, the music is heartwarming, your gardens are incredible! I look forward to everything you post!🍁🍂🌾
Anita, your garden looked wonderful. Everything looked so lush and green around it. Just remember all this hard work will be so delicious this winter. Enjoyed this video.
Hi, Anita! I hope you and your family are having a wonderful summer. Your garden is absolutely gorgeous. We downsized tremendously this year with our garden. I truly enjoyed your video. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Happy harvesting.
So good to see a video from you! Everything is so beautiful there and I enjoyed watching you can the applesauce. Very busy here in Missouri with canning peaches, beans, peas, freezing okra and peppers. God is so good to us!
Hi Sweet Anita! We used to have a lovely garden too. But now we are not able to keep up with it. Used to can everything but now I make it up for the freezer. A bit easier for us seniors. Getting ready to do some cucumbers and onions in vinegar for my hubby. My friend did up some spiced red cabbage that looks yummy. Haven't tried it yet. Also rosy rhubarb sauce. I do have a bunch of apples to do up for applesauce I make it in slow cooker and it is delish. So tho I don't can anymore I'm still busy with end of summer goodies. I always love your videos as we used to be in a hand hewn log cabin in Kentucky. I quilted a lot and it was delightful. But now a dear friend has it and the 30 odd acres. I miss it so but we have moved on to a new chapter in our senior years. The name of our place was Whispering Pines also. So you see we are kindred spirits ! Love from Lin in Michigan 💚😗❤
Lin did you tell me that before about Whispering Pines? I couldn’t remember ☺️☺️ What a sweet connection, and all your putting up sounds wonderful!! And your cabin must have been a dream☺️☺️
Anita this was a beautiful video! It's so nice to see a you tube video that shows the beauty of the late summer. Us Southerners have a while before we see signs of Fall. I'm heading up to our home up there next week. My Dad has grown the best tomatoes in his garden this year. I cant wait to enjoy some cooler weather and garden goodness.
Soothing video both in sound and scenery. You water bath can those apples like my late grandma did 60 years ago! Do you get problems with those little wormy creatures boring holes in the stems of your squash plants down South?
Thank you so much!! Yes, we do get squash vine borers, but tilling and plowing helps disturb their nests before planting, and I did end up having to inject BT into the stems, but it did work and is a great organic solution:-)
@@WhisperingPinesHomestead So many thanks for your reply and help! I think its too late to inject the BT, hoping that those butternut squash will continue to turn orange on the vine. I certainly will do your suggestion next year! So many thanks!
