Just had 4 bottles of Maclane Nose delivered. At £30 a bottle I couldn't resist before it started going up in price. I bought 2 bottles when Ralfy made it his whisky of the year. It's just a great whisky at a very reasonable price👍

You are correct, our economics are nothing like Scotland in terms of - building the infrastructure from scratch in today's dollars; the price we pay for malt is vastly higher; bottles, labels, boxes - all bought in relatively small volumes and at silly high prices. - Ro from Waiheke Whisky.
I hope Macleans Nose is a game changer. The price increases the last 3 years has been punishing. Hopefully more producers do the same

Hey Tim, Mclean's Nose is $90.00 in Australia but may give it a try if I see for 70 or 80. Whisky prices have gone nuts in Australia with our customs and excise tax structure over here. Dave, Its tough but just try and keep positive as these things pass in time mate. Will have a look out for Waiheke here in Aus.
