We had a netherland dwarf bunny named Callie for many years. She was a secondhand bunny; her original family just couldn't manage dog, bunny, and new baby. What an absolute delight she was. Her coloring was grey and white, very similar (but different) from your Basil. We were all surprised at how she fit in to our household with two indoor kitties. She literally ran circles around them! ❤❤❤
I have a similar story with my bun. The original family couldn't keep her because their toddler was chasing her around and manhandling her too much. She was very nervous when I first got her, but has relaxed over time. Mine is a lionhead mutt with beautiful patchy tan, brown, and white coloring.
