If you are on flat ground do you actually need the foundation or the floor? It looks like the walls and roof should be enough. the foundation stayed blue so do you have to finish building it?
If you want to build a floor for aesthetic reasons it's there. But you may be able to skip it. Sorry if theirs some confusion there. Let me know how it goes!
I believe the workbench is just to build items at and doesn't effect the strength of the objects. That said, some modded servers may have their own custom settings, usually you can find more info on custom stuff in each servers discord.

@@Nitno You can barely put a wall ontop of another but it is impossible to build. This mod is god awful on pvp servers if you try to wall in an area with natural walls and fences

It might be to do with the mod install on the server, Check the lifetime in types.xml and also spawnable types i think? I am not an expert on the subject, but I do believe disappear objects in dayz is to with how the server files are configured.

Try right on the dpad. Here check out the DayZ wiki they have a controls section. Try googleing "dayz wiki controls" then when on the site scroll down to the xbox controls.
@@Nitno Basically, we're able to make log walls for the door and normal walls, but then we get to the window and only get the option for vertical planks no matter what we do.
This mod makes things so much harder than they need to be, all because a handful of pricks would exploit the game otherwise. Getting sick of having to deal with this shit and pretend it's normal.

How can you remove the land claiming kit? Tried to pick up, but no option for, shot at it to ruin but still pristine
Hmm, I have not tested this, but I believe you can remove it with a Sledgehammer.
Do you need a foundation to put a gate/door down? (I wanna go to a church and place a door down and not hassle with this)
I don't believe so. I think a foundation mostly helps you make your base perfectly square.

Correct, once it's locked it'll stay locked, just you (or anyone else who inputs the code) can come and go. To everyone else it's locked.

This one is just BaseBuildingPlus. Use the Built in DayZ Launcher, it'll download the mods you need when you enter a server.

Likely to put a tool not in use. Say your are done with your hammer for now, place it on the bench.

You have to find it. I am not sure you'd have to check the trader mod you are using. Probably some sort of file for it.
i tried a couple of modded server and on each server the flag pole kit needed 3 sticks and a rope.

how do i build indoor gate, like other mod when play solo?
I believe a gate requires The Frame (1 Log, 5 Planks, 16 Nails) and The Door (0 Logs, 10 Planks, 16 Nails).
When I leave the area some of my walls, foundations despawn. Any idea why? :) Keep up the great work!

Where to find codelocks?
By reading the game files, it says "Industrial, Farm" So basically any of the farm/industrial type buildings have a chance to spawn it.
