I'm thinking about some of the latest videos showing brothers in Africa being instructed to meet up at some compound. It's pretty frightening when you pair that up with 'you may be asked to do something that doesn't seem reasonable from a human standpoint' 😮😲😨
I thought the ‘meeting up at the government approved camps’ was about obeying the government? after all, the guv nobody made sure every publisher was fully vaxed, for their health😅 Let’s all go the the FEMA camps. Surely Jehovah is with us! 😁

Lamb chops on the BBQ are delicious. Never ate lamb till a friend of mine who grew up in North Africa invited me to dinner. Eating lamb is a staple in that part of the world. Highly recommend it.

"Sheep will put up with anything", true. I took my dog to a sheep herding class. The sheep put up with dogs biting their butts ALL day. They didn't care. My dog, though, a pitbull, failed miserably. She bit their butt once, thought ok, I did what you told me, not doing it again, I'm done 😂 Shepherd type dogs kept at it the whole time. I'd rather be like a lovable pit, mind of my own.

Yes my friend, we are obsolete. Forgotten relics from a bygone era. Presiding overseers, district overseers, the RBC, the ministry school, book study, the reasoning book, going door to door, counting time, fearing the tribulation because it meant it'd be too late to repent, the old song book, using a physical Bible (not screens or tablets at meeting),10 hour monthly requirements, 1914, us thinking that the death of people at Sodom and Gomorrah and in the flood was justified, it's all gone. All gone. There will be people that join the org right now, or born ins that will call us liars when we talk about counting time, or trudging through snow up a mile long driveway to knock on the door of a summer cabin where we knew nobody was home. There are generations coming up right now that will never experience any of this. I'm so depressed today Stacy 😢
That is a FANTASTIC list of relics. GREAT job my friend....and no one will soon have a clue what any of those things are. You're not alone my friend, I've been fighting the emotions as well. I can appreciate your difficulty in finding something to say after that announcement by the governing body. They certainly have made it difficult for you . The trouble being brought up as a sheep is that even when when you grow up and your critical thinking has come into play, all that stuff still resides in your subconscious. I have noticed that the majority of my life has been trying to be compliant rather than assertive. I lost a person who I had known for over 35 years by being assertive and saying no, no, no and I am sure it is because I usually say yes.

Surviving, you out did yourself again! What you say here is so PROFOUND in view of all that we were taught. As a person who has worked all my life with animals (my favorite subject), this subject was instrumental in waking me up. It was a great subject choice. Sheep are sweet & dear. But goats are incredibly intelligent, sensitive, full of character, hilariously funny & just plain sunny dispositioned! The reason they are hard to handle is because if you dont realize their intelligence, they will get the best of you! They are NOT stubborn. That talk by Lett, where he asked if JW's would be "led by strangers" made me furious. Most JW's have never met those 9, yet they will follow those sheep in wolves clothing right to their slaughter, even after the bible tells them not to! Those 9 have been brutal in the way they skin & throw their sheep about. Can you imagine the damage they could do if they used kindness?! Because yeah, they really hurt their sheep even to the point of death. To illustrate intelligence, I was once working away, using a motorcycle. At 1st I didnt hear the goat on a neighbors property. When I realized I was hearing a goat screaming over the sound of the engine, I shut it off. There was a ewe 🐑 across a deep, wide creek bed & a road, some distance away. She was at the fence, staring at me & screaming. I couldnt see a problem, so I went over there. Down behind the weeds was her kid with his head stuck in the fence! She knew to ask even a stranger for help. As JW's, many of us have had to turn to strangers for help when we left the abuse & instead of the evil we were told we would find, we found true kindness from good people. 🐐

Nailed it! I’d maybe say this is “new light” to me but, ha, let’s say the light bulb went off for me at least!! I’m sad to say I was once a sheep, blindly following. No longer, I’d rather be a goat!! But religious people who read the Bible should not be shocked at all, because in the book of Genesis, it states let us make man in our image and boy, God certainly did that. A JW sheep is “worse” than an actual sheep in that they will use human “rationality” to explain why they cannot deviate and be a non-sheep: “Satan is testing us”, “apostates are testing us”, “that it might not make sense to you is your opportunity to show humility and obey Jehovah’s organization and not your ego”, “not following this order is showing disobedience to Jehovah”. On and on. A real sheep is innocent. It’s following its instincts. A human sheep is self-sabotaging, brainwashed, deflecting criticism away from its “flock”. All deliberate choices, none of them can be called instincts.

And he also said, “I have other sheep, ( ownership) Ever notice the Governing body does not say,”Christ’s ‘other sheep? They use the phrase,”’THE other sheep class”. This is how they are able mislead millions. And are able to divide their own sheep, who choose to listen to their voice into two sheep folds. They are the false shepherds! When I took to heart John 14:6 and then realized I was listening to someone other than Jesus and his Father, I could no longer follow the gov body and after that, boy did I get in trouble!

I live in Australia .I am have never been a JW I remember going to an abattoir.Thay had one sheep called a judus sheep.All other ship followed it to there death.The Judus sheep stayed alive.
Where I live, sheep are a herd animal that is either eaten by a wolf or preferably, by it owner or his friends. For us humans, I figure that is a great provision. I’ve never heard any objection from the sheep.
Listened during my commute a few weeks ago. I remember feeling gutted when you made the point of sending lambs / sheep to their death when being outcast from the flock since they never developed the skills needed for survival... Ahhhhh sheep. Yep, we should all aspire to be reliable and reliant, malleable, suggestable, gullible, cute, helpless, totally dependent on the shepherd and... edible, useful and ultimately replaceable, and not too bright.
There was actually a month where the "why sheep" question was the theme... maybe... mid 90's I think? The answer was basically what I mentioned above, they're humble, common, uniform, obedient, incapable of individual thought, grateful for the little they have, content to be led... even to slaughter 😬
