I stumbled on you in a completely by accident. I was at a restaurant eating a chicken sandwich and I heard a cover of Never My Love. I could tell it was not the original but I had no idea who was doing it, so when I got home I started searching every version of the song until I found yours. And, of course, that led me to more and more Family Sessions. I've listened to this song too many times to count and the hairs on my arms stand up every time once the accompaniment and harmony kick in. How is it that every song that I hear from you is always better than the last one? Listening to your music has a way of dissolving politics and aggression and hardship and all the things that make life so difficult, and I'm left with a sense of appreciating those close to me. Your music is a soothing and much needed escape. Don't stop!
I was really touched by the serene sound, the love put into in, the guitar play and her mesmerizing both soft and strong voice and the beautiful harmony of the vocals combined. The shared energy lifted this song up to a whole new level right then and there. When a cover is performed as an ode to the original than this will probably be a beautiful gift to Madrugada showing respect for their art.
