    Absolutely brilliant. HUGE thanks. Hasn't happened to me yet but now I know. Anyone doing this, PLEASE be careful. If you do something wrong and Fisker support is no longer available you might end up with something worse than a stuck Nav screen. So, BE CAREFUL. I have some something fairly similar in disassembly and reassemble with my 92 BMW 850i where I had to take out the general control module and switch out capacitors. So, that was more complicated but the disassembly and assembly was pretty similar, removing panels under the steering wheel. I took my time making a 2 hr job a 5-6 hrs job taking breaks in between to breath and slow down to be patient. NICE video.

    Great video. I just did this reset a few days ago because my cell service stopped working, pulling the fuse for a minute has fixed it so far. Wish I had your video, it would have made it a ton easier!!
    One addition that I did notice, and maybe you did this and we couldn't see it, is when putting the lower cover back on by the pedals, there is a metal mount or tab near towards the front of the vehicle that that lower cover latches into, it seems to keep the cover raised higher and better fitting around the floor vents.
    Thanks again, Great stuff!!!

    • @MTNRanger
      @MTNRanger  Месяц назад +1

      Yes, when it pushed it towards the front and up, it seems to latch into it. If you don't do that, it falls down in the front by an inch or so.

    Brilliant… thanks you so much for posting those educational videos. I guess if fisker goes under (maybe the question is not if, it’s when), you are going to be the go to guru :)… I’ve been experiencing issues with my ICC for the last few weeks, it would go black while driving, could not access anything, including AC, soft reboot did not work. The moment I stops it would go back! A technician came over and did hard reboot by disconnecting the 12V battery, one week later the ICC went completely down!!! I put another ticket, and now it’s been a week no one has called! Do you think this something has to do with the fuse box?

    • @MTNRanger
      @MTNRanger  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks! With that description, I think you may need the ICC module replaced. I would check to see if a fuse is blown. Check out the Facebook "Fisker Ocean Maintenance and Tips" group, lots of good stuff in there. We already have a service manual available to download.

    Any suggestions on how to fix the cameras/blind spot lights permanently on issue? Can it be fixed with changing fuses?

    • @MTNRanger

      The cameras and blind spot detection issues are bugs that needed be addressed in software. Resetting fuses will not help that issue. No, an Ottocast P3 (or other device) will not work with the Ocean.

    Hi MTNranger, do you think it would be ok to not put back the first screw that you removed in the video or do you think the panel will fall off? It seems that the clips and the bottom screws were able to keep the plastic panel in place.

    I guess I have been lucky with my FOO in that I have not had a problem with the navigation location being stuck.
    I do have the issue with Navigation updates not working, and the maps showing as 19 months old. I reached out to Tomtom and was told that they update the maps every 3 months. Lastly, for my navigation it shows states that I have never driven to as being "Region in Use". On my car it shows the state of Washington in Use and my car has not left California. I really hope that the Fisker 3.0 update includes working updates to the Fisker Ocean Navigation maps.

    • @MTNRanger
      @MTNRanger  Месяц назад

      The maps download has never worked on the Ocean. They appear to download but never install and error out. The points of interest are very poor in the navigation. I search for local destinations and it sometimes points to something 500 miles away when I know there is one 5 miles away. Very odd.

    Hello,
    Thank you very much for the great video.
    I am from Germany and have had my Fisker Ocean Extreme since December 2023.
    There is no longer any support in Germany.
    After Update 2.0 I have no longer a connection to the apps and the internet. Date, navigation and updates are no longer possible.
    I tried to reboot the car using the main-switch near the battery. But that didn't work.
