I may be wrong but the movie White Chicks introduced this song to millions of people.Before RUclips,it was hard to find your favorites songs and get exposed to all the music on RUclips and other websites.When I got to the "discovering RUclips music era" around the early 2010sish,I discovered Eazy E and BTNH etc,at that time RUclips was probably at it's peak in that time period. These videos wasn't published around the time RUclips came out.I knew about this song since 2004.Once I got deeper into RUclips I started searching for all my favorite songs and "mostly" songs I haven't heard in FOREVER!!This song was in my brain's memory file for years.
Popular music was beginning its rapid decline in the 2000s, but it still surprises me this song wasn't able to get inside the top 40 in 2002. I did some deep-diving on its discogs page, and it looks like it was indeed released as a single in the US (even unbelievably on vinyl). I was just a kid. I barely remember it from Looney Tunes Back in Action, but it wasn't until I recently saw it in the Kao the Kangaroo trailer that I was like "holy shit, what is this" lol.
One of the only groups to sound 10x better live than they do recorded. And that by no means saying they sound bad recorded, but their live performances are just A+, top notch, so fun, makes me smile almost 20 years later like it did when I first heard it on market street in old navy in San Fran at 12 yo ❤🎉

Can't think of another happier, uplifting tune than this, except maybe the instrumental version of "I Must Know" by composer Neal Hefti. Featured in the soundtrack of the movie "Sex and the Single Girl." Jack Jones sang lyrics to it but at too fast a pace, IMO. I wish I could get the instrumental as a ringtone for my phone.
