Currently on Episode 319, Started Gintama in April 2023 and its July today. It was on my side during the darkest worst days of my life,this summer was the worst which came to me in my entire life but I survived it bcz I had Yorozuya(Odd Jobs) on my side. I never cried as much as I did while watching it,I never laughed as much I did while watching it,Gintama has a special place my heart and it will be my last anime for this year. Ginatama has a huge impact on me,which will stay forever ❤️. I started it as a source of comedy during my struggling phase but now I'm so much attached to it that I am afraid what to do once I finish this, I am only 50 episodes and 1 movie away from finishing it. Gintama is the best show to ever exist! Gintama motivates me to live a long life,a life without grief and regrets, a life which has no traces of my past, a life in which I'm surrounded by my friends and loved ones, a life which should be spent loving and protecting those who are important to you, live a life like an independent Samurai who has his own Bushido. I love how it’s been almost a year since the anime has concluded and we are all still depressed I want to hit my head against a rock, get amnesia and rewatch gintama all over again
i just picked it back up after i left it since 2016ish and i just finished but for some im not sad. I think Gintama's lesson of being happy that the good things happened instead of being sad it's gone has been thoroughly drilled into me. I rlly thought i was gonna be devastated when i finished the movie but i was smiling so hard for some reason. In all of my years of completing an anime or manga i rlly love, I have never experienced joy when i finished it. Gintama's just that much of a unique anime.
In a world filled with successful people and people obsessed with success. Gin-san gave us losers solace on our darkest days and values to live by on our better days.

I'm super glad for finding Gintama when I was 14 and depressed. Never failed to help me cope up with my breakdowns and loneliness, each track each memes, jokes, fights, drama, backstory, parody.. it was all because of Gintama. That's why I'm so thankful for Gorilla-Sensei. 💐
This was exactly me. I discovered Gintama when I was 14 as well, during a time when I was very depressed and wasn't enjoying school. Finding this anime was like a beacon of light to me. It brightened my life in a way I never expected, and it helped me get though one of the darkest periods of my life. I'm 24 right now, and I've never found another show that made me feel how Gintama has made me feel. I probably never will, and I'll always look back during the time I first discovered this show with a smile 🥲
It makes me really happy to see that people still appreciate Gintama even after so long. A few years back, I watched Gintama till season 4 and dropped there for various reasons. Gintama saved me that time, I was going through hell. Now, that time has gotten rough again, I started rewatching it from the beginning, watching 1-2 episodes everyday, just as a daily dose of healing potion. gintama gave me best life lessons yet : every one has their own suffering, we all have lost some one important to, it's fine to help a stranger, it fine to be yourself, every one has flaws, laughing at di*k jokes is fine, its ok give people funny name, have a self moral conduct, it's easy get past hard times just by making stupid joke and making fun of the situation . reminding my 17 year old butt that calcium is important and for most of all: if i am going down , i m taking everybody with me . (going down alone for sake of everyone is too cliché ) good day everyone
Gintoki lost his memory and decided to move from Yorozuya and this song started playing out of the blue and we fell in love the series. That was one of the saddest moment of the show.
One time last year, when I was still watching gintama, this song got stuck in my head. I found it and it's been in my liked videos and playlists for awhile. I decided to play it when going out to a restaurant in the rain. When I ate and left, the waiter girl smiled at me and told me to stay safe, as it was raining. But it wasn't raining anymore when I went outside. So I opened up the door and told her "it's ok. I appreciate it though" There's no meaning to this story. I just feel nostalgiac about it, even though it was only around a year ago.
It's been months since i finished Gintama but i still can't get over it. Every single day I'm watching it's funny scenes on YT again and again. I just miss it so much. I have never laughed so much and cried the next second while watching a anime. Gintama will forever be close to my heart. Even when I'm watching other animes i can't stop thinking about Gintama.
