As an old guy who owned a little of everything in the early to mid 1990's I was into the Mitsubishi Eclipse/ Eagle Talon's. I had several from a 2wd 5spd car to a modded 1990 AWD Turbo car. I haven't seen one in years and he had several from different years lying around in his yard. Many were scrapped from timing belt breaks that drove the valves right through the top of the pistons. Man those cars were fun to drive.
THIS is what makes for really good watching. No profanity laced yadda yadda, no stupidly childish clowning around, always respectful. And Dennis does it all with no f-bombs flying out of his mouth with every second word! Dennis' knowledge of Jeeps is just fascinating.

For anyone that doesn't know, the Lambert's restaurant they ate at, it is the home of the throwed rolls. I ate at the one in Foley, Alabama. Fantastic place and yes they throw the rolls to you.
The food isn’t nearly as good as it was when Lambert’s was just a small cafe. I believe this is the 5th location in Sikeston since it first opened. We used to eat at there when it was at Main and Malone at the center of town. It probably seated 25-30 people max, but the food was so much better. The food is still good, but now it is more about oversized servings and putting on a show. The rolls are amazing though. It is more of a tourist place, locals don’t eat there as much, especially during the summer. There will be lines going all the way around the building to get in. You have got to really want to eat there to wait out in the heat and humidity of “Swamp East” Missouri.
@@richardbuck7755 nope, Lambert’s started in Sikeston. The first location opened in 1942, it wasn’t until Norm Lambert took over the business that it got famous for “Throwed Rolls”. At 26:49 Dennis makes mention of how sand can actually protect against rust. This is sooo true. I bought a van once that was sitting in sand for 10 years. It actually sunk so far into the sand, the fuel tank was buried. It took two tow trucks to get that van out of there. One tow truck to get the first one that got stuck in the sand. Long story short, no rust and with a new battery, the van started right up! no lie! Something about that sand protected the fuel and metal.
Awesome to see ya so close to my back yard rescuing and potentially reviving some of the older vehicles around here. There's a lot of hoarder collections around these parts, hopefully one day I'll be able to afford to do the same. You all definitely picked a good spot to eat, Lamberts is so good!
