So basically all factions wanna take abnur tharn and mannimarco so it stops daedra etc. and create easy access to take ruby throne. And they're gonna kill each other also to get what they want first.
No the three factions which are known as the Daggerfall Covenant (Bretons, Redguards, and Orcs), Ebonheart Pact (Dark Elves, Nords, and Argonians), and the Aldmeri Dominion (High Elves, Wood Elves, and Khajiit’s) are fighting for control of Cyrodiil. The war is known as the Three-Banners War. There’s more to it but that’s some of it.
Ebonheart Pact logic: A Nord,Dunmer, And an Argonian are in a bar fight against each other. An Akaviri/Daedra/Anything that wishes to invade their homeland comes in to fight one of them The Nord,Dunmer, and Argonian suddenly become the best of friends. Then afterward go back to fighting each other
think having the movie starting around part 1 of the cinematic trailers and ending with Tiber Septim conquering Tamriel and becoming emperor would be a good summary? :)
I know I’m very late for this comment, but if I remember correctly they and the nords were essentially the bulk of the pacts armies, dark elves were more politicians and on the battle field most were mages
I love how they showed the magical lightning summoned by the female Altmer, specifically how it destroyed a huge wall. It shows just how powerful even an adept mage can be in the Elder Scrolls canon.
I remember playing Oblivion, going to the imperial city... I remember playing to Skyrim, doing most of the content, understanding fairly well the story... So I thought I could watch this trailer and that I'd understand what was going on in it. Never have I been so wrong.
Basically, this takes place about 1000 years before Skyrim's events. Molag Bal (Daedric Prince) has invaded Cyrodiil (in "The Arrival" cinematic), and has taken control of the Imperial City. The Ebonheart Pact, consisting of Nords, Argonians, and Dunmer, are marching to defeat Molag's ally, Mannimarco. The Altmer sorceress was captured in The Arrival by the Ebonheart Pact's Nord leader after she destroyed Molag's invasion gate. The Breton marksman was killed by Mannimarco in The Arrival and became a general in his undead/daedric army. I recommend watching "The Alliances" then "The Arrival" to get a better understanding. The basic frame for The Alliances is the three factions are each separately and unaware of each other trying to invade Cyrodiil to seize control, but get interrupted by Molag Bal in The Arrival.

oisin fitzgerald Well, the European Middle Ages are generally agreed to be from around 500 AD to 1500 AD, so Tamriel isn't that far off. However, it's important to consider that magic already does what Renaissance and Colonial warfare technology did; it kills things from a distance without needing to be skilled with a bow or crossbow. It's probably more reliable and easier to obtain than a gunpowder weapon, in fact. Most of the technological advancements of those periods were in things trivial to gameplay; the invention of the printing press, advanced painting techniques, the adding machine, etc. So what's the point of moving Tamriel forward? Additionally (this is pure speculation), time may function differently on Nirn; in Skyrim, in-game time moves 20 times faster than ours, which may not be only a gameplay device. With days lasting for 1/20th of our duration (and therefore barely more than an hour of our time), it would be difficult to develop much technology or art, and 1000 years would be more like 50 to us.
TBH, the point I was trying to make was that this cinematic didn't said anything to help the player understand what's going on when he's not a fan of the TES Lore. ^^ But thanks for the history lesson anyway. :)

Star Wars Old Republic and these 3 are by far one the most entertaining trailers I've ever seen. The duration is damn long and excitement dwelling within every scene, well done in the cinematic department and so far, I am enjoying the game TOO much.
Some things i hope Bethesda will add in future updates: Improved stealth AI, making it possible for enemies to both hear you (however only at low skills in the shadow tree or if you wear heavy armor) and see you at a much farther distance. If someone spots you, everyone nearby will too. Maybe have the horse stay in one place in five minutes or until you spawn a new one? Bug fixes Change the combat, make it a bit less robotic, and that you need to stay close to the enemy to hit him/her, not just use an ability and then back away.

Bathesda has nothing to do with this game. Its made by ZeniMax Online, which is subsidiarie of ZeniMax Media. (Bethesda is a subsidiarie of ZeniMax Media as well, but its completly different studio)
I posted it towards Bethesda simply because it only appeared on the Bethesda channel. Elder Scrolls is still essentially Bethesda's IP I believe. But you are entirely correct and I do stand corrected.

He's in Daggerfall and apparently you killed him in Oblivion but I don't think he's dead. He brought the whole of Tamriel to it's knees in the 2Era but in the 3Era he's killed off like a normal Necromancer.
Hahaha, I love the last two, particularly The Arrival (which was PERFECT), but the blatant "Saruman on the tower top", excessive use of scamps (by the eight they are every bit as annoying in the game!!), the Argonian that roars like a lion (LOL), and general bish/bash/bosh melee filler (that The Hobbit movies are guilty of when straying from the book) and nonsensical Imperial City wall breaking ritual, when the IC isn't even available in the game in any form (never mind the wall breaking business) until a (presumably much) later update. To the haters saying the game isn't enough like the trailers, I say the trailers aren't as good as the game! Great job Zenimax. Loving it. Imperial Edition was worth every penny and then some.
LOL I bet half of the people complaining in the comments didn't actually tried the game only watched bad reviews. Try the game, ESO has many stories to tell and many styles of gameplay I was waiting for bethesda to make an online game , even if its bad ( in your opinion) doesn't mean it's gonna fall. I'm loving the game at the mo. We just seem to live in a time where its cool to call everything shit. weather it be games, movies or what ever. Everyone loves to whine about something. dont get me wrong, there are parts of the game that i felt disappointed with (like the Oblivion gates missions) but in all i love it and in time can only get better.
Yeah, but remember, WoW essentially *was* the beginning of MMOs (Don't take that at ignorant face value as I'm sure there were MMOs prior to WoW) and as such garnered it's huge fanbase long before everything else, and since many a company have tried their hand at the MMO scene, and many have failed. Personally I feel this game will last longer than most, even with all the negative opinions, purely because of Bethesda's rediculous fanbase, but I doubt it'll last. I mean, look at that Star Wars MMO, that was Star Wars and it still crumbled.

It's a MMO game so it can be changed and updated and they can fix the wrong things and put some cool things instead we should give it a year at least then we can really judge it. Although I bet the console version will be better than the PC's.

True Besides you don't really need the PvE as the PvP is so fucking awesome. I once took out a group of five on my sorcerer main. I called down lightning and meteors as i blinked between them sending bolts of magicka through them. It was awesome.
What I don't like about these elder scrolls trailers is that they give off a different atmosphere from the other Elder Scrolls games. Oblivion for example has such a nice, appealing atmosphere. I wish I could feel that in these trailers but I just cant.
I don't know what it is with the game or the trailers, but neither feel like Bethesda or Zenimax even wanted it to feel like an Elder Scrolls game. Could be the MMO style of design, or the fact that everything look stupid, the crafting system just is stupid though. Thank god they had the Betas...

I was a Beta Tester and I would recommend this game to anyone. I was hooked from the start. Very well done. Unfortunately I wont be playing it anymore. I have way too many bills to keep up with all these games monthly fees. But if you can afford it, then is a must get. You wont be disappointed.
I tried playing Skyrim again now, after playing the game, for comparison, and it really showed how Skyrim's better than ESO. 1. The combat is a LOT better, being quicker, and less robotic. 2. The graphic is better. I'm running both games on the highest settings, and skyrim is WAY better looking. 3.The world is way more immersive. You can pick up nearly everything. You can move nearly anything. NPCs can also initiate conversation. NPCs can talk to eachother at random moments. NPCs have a daily schedule, they don't stand like mindless robots in a store 24/7. Please don't have the Elder Scrolls series die here.
god i'm sick of people comparing ESO to skyrim, of course skyrim is better because its single player, ESO is an mmo, so compare it to other mmo's rather than a single player game. jesus.
They could at least have made combat less robotic (power and normal attacks being quicker, stuns lasting a lot shorter, two-handed power attacks not sending you flying).
They really should make a movie; just like Blizzard did of Warcraft. ALso, they need a 'barbar' shop in-game to allow us to re-customize our characters. and a proper Auction House would be great. ANd also a typing CHAT SYSTEM?! So we can RP our characters. THEN... THEN ESO would be perfect!

Better a TV series like Game of Thrones, so we have more time to characters development and to avoid plot holes. The best in my opinion would be the great Tiber Septim, Conqueror of Tamriel and Master of Dragons, from his youth around Tamriel (First Season) then the service under King Cuhlecain of Bruma and the battle between him and young Hjalti (Talos/Tiber) (Second Season) and then final season the War of Conquest for the entire continent
I love how a game is supposed to have three player factions but the videos always show, like, one. . and then always have a bias. That really helps game balance. It really does.
Each trailer has made an individual faction look badass, imo. Alliance trailer had the Breton that was wiping the floor with just about everyone (moreso than the Nord and Altmer), Arrival had the High Elf go HAM on the Daedra (she essentially single handedly stopped them, so...), and Siege was obviously favoring EP in general. Hoping that if they have a fourth trailer, it'll be a more... all-around trailer.
I dunno, Thorson. The Elf chick breaking open a wall and then breaking free kind of steals the scene. Either way, the only real army we see is the Ebonpact. I have my doubts.
I see mostly Ebonpact in this trailer, which are apparently all being wiped out single handedly by that badass high elf chick. If developers have any biases, it's clearly in favor of AD, which is perfectly fine with me since it's my faction and high elf female is my character. In short... FOR THE DOMINION! FOR THE QUEEN!

I didn't get the chance to play the Beta. Just got the game yesterday and I'm really enjoying it. I can't remember the last time I played an MMO that was so smooth on launch, really impressed. T graphics aren't as good as Skyrim but are much nicer than RUclips videos suggest. The combat is easily the best out of any Elder Scrolls game so far. Zenimax have done a good job overall, worth the monthly fee imo.
All of these people saying this game is bad, haven't even tried it. All they did was watch AngryJoes's BETA REVIEW. You can't review a game in Beta, and that's why I hate AngryJoe. This game is amazing now. They fixed it up, polished it, it plays so good, and it's so much fun.

Star Wars Old Republic and these 3 are by far one the most entertaining trailers I've ever seen. The duration is damn long and excitement dwelling within every scene, well done in the cinematic department and so far, I am enjoying the game TOO much.
For real. The ESO cinematic trailers are on par with the SWTOR cinematic trailers. In fact ESO cinematics are the best I’ve seen SINCE SWTOR.
Some things i hope Bethesda will add in future updates:
Improved stealth AI, making it possible for enemies to both hear you (however only at low skills in the shadow tree or if you wear heavy armor) and see you at a much farther distance. If someone spots you, everyone nearby will too.
Maybe have the horse stay in one place in five minutes or until you spawn a new one?
Bug fixes
Change the combat, make it a bit less robotic, and that you need to stay close to the enemy to hit him/her, not just use an ability and then back away.

Hahaha, I love the last two, particularly The Arrival (which was PERFECT), but the blatant "Saruman on the tower top", excessive use of scamps (by the eight they are every bit as annoying in the game!!), the Argonian that roars like a lion (LOL), and general bish/bash/bosh melee filler (that The Hobbit movies are guilty of when straying from the book) and nonsensical Imperial City wall breaking ritual, when the IC isn't even available in the game in any form (never mind the wall breaking business) until a (presumably much) later update. To the haters saying the game isn't enough like the trailers, I say the trailers aren't as good as the game! Great job Zenimax. Loving it. Imperial Edition was worth every penny and then some.

I'm loving the game at the mo. We just seem to live in a time where its cool to call everything shit. weather it be games, movies or what ever. Everyone loves to whine about something. dont get me wrong, there are parts of the game that i felt disappointed with (like the Oblivion gates missions) but in all i love it and in time can only get better.
Yeah, but remember, WoW essentially *was* the beginning of MMOs (Don't take that at ignorant face value as I'm sure there were MMOs prior to WoW) and as such garnered it's huge fanbase long before everything else, and since many a company have tried their hand at the MMO scene, and many have failed.
Personally I feel this game will last longer than most, even with all the negative opinions, purely because of Bethesda's rediculous fanbase, but I doubt it'll last. I mean, look at that Star Wars MMO, that was Star Wars and it still crumbled.

It's a MMO game so it can be changed and updated and they can fix the wrong things and put some cool things instead we should give it a year at least then we can really judge it. What I don't like about these elder scrolls trailers is that they give off a different atmosphere from the other Elder Scrolls games. Oblivion for example has such a nice, appealing atmosphere. I wish I could feel that in these trailers but I just cant.
I don't know what it is with the game or the trailers, but neither feel like Bethesda or Zenimax even wanted it to feel like an Elder Scrolls game. Could be the MMO style of design, or the fact that everything look stupid, the crafting system just is stupid though. Thank god they had the Betas...

I was a Beta Tester and I would recommend this game to anyone. I was hooked from the start. Very well done. Unfortunately I wont be playing it anymore. I have way too many bills to keep up with all these games monthly fees. But if you can afford it, then is a must get. You wont be disappointed.

I tried playing Skyrim again now, after playing the game, for comparison, and it really showed how Skyrim's better than ESO.
1. The combat is a LOT better, being quicker, and less robotic.
2. The graphic is better. I'm running both games on the highest settings, and skyrim is WAY better looking.
3.The world is way more immersive. You can pick up nearly everything. You can move nearly anything. NPCs can also initiate conversation. NPCs can talk to eachother at random moments. NPCs have a daily schedule, they don't stand like mindless robots in a store 24/7.
Please don't have the Elder Scrolls series die here.

They could at least have made combat less robotic (power and normal attacks being quicker, stuns lasting a lot shorter, two-handed power attacks not sending you flying).

Better a TV series like Game of Thrones, so we have more time to characters development and to avoid plot holes. The best in my opinion would be the great Tiber Septim, Conqueror of Tamriel and Master of Dragons, from his youth around Tamriel (First Season) then the service under King Cuhlecain of Bruma and the battle between him and young Hjalti (Talos/Tiber) (Second Season) and then final season the War of Conquest for the entire continent

I love how a game is supposed to have three player factions but the videos always show, like, one. . and then always have a bias. That really helps game balance. It really does.
Each trailer has made an individual faction look badass, imo.
Alliance trailer had the Breton that was wiping the floor with just about everyone (moreso than the Nord and Altmer), Arrival had the High Elf go HAM on the Daedra (she essentially single handedly stopped them, so...), and Siege was obviously favoring EP in general.
Hoping that if they have a fourth trailer, it'll be a more... all-around trailer.

Either way, the only real army we see is the Ebonpact. I have my doubts.
I see mostly Ebonpact in this trailer, which are apparently all being wiped out single handedly by that badass high elf chick. If developers have any biases, it's clearly in favor of AD, which is perfectly fine with me since it's my faction and high elf female is my character.

I didn't get the chance to play the Beta. Just got the game yesterday and I'm really enjoying it. I can't remember the last time I played an MMO that was so smooth on launch, really impressed. T graphics aren't as good as Skyrim but are much nicer than RUclips videos suggest. The combat is easily the best out of any Elder Scrolls game so far. Zenimax have done a good job overall, worth the monthly fee imo.
All of these people saying this game is bad, haven't even tried it. All they did was watch AngryJoes's BETA REVIEW. You can't review a game in Beta, and that's why I hate AngryJoe. This game is amazing now. They fixed it up, polished it, it plays so good, and it's so much fun.

This whole ESO thing is as Yahtzee put it "Another proud entry for the list of shit nobody asked for" I didn't want it, I do not know anybody that even thought it was a good idea (you know until they announced it, then it was the best idea ever). After you pay $60 for it they hit you with fees. That is fucking bullshit, I already bought the fucking game, why should I have to pay a fee to play it? You cannot have it both ways. Its either a subscription based payment or a one time payment. You cannot go and say... I want more money so lets do both! The fact that no one cares that they are being screwed is pathetic. This game never should have made any sales. This just tells corporations that we are idiots and will buy anything, even if we are being ripped off. Bethesda needs to stick to making single player games. That is what they are good at.

Всю цепочку квестов готовили к битве с ним, говорили, что он нереально крутой, в итоге убил его с двух ударов, очень расстроился. Но здесь он действительно круто выглядит, сразу видно, задницу игроку надерет с первого раза.
