- In this video we review and test a ladder that was purchased from Screwfix in the UK, it's the Xtend & Climb Professional PROSERIES Model 930p Ladder which features 13 treads and extends up to 8 meters.
If you are looking to buy this ladder then hopefully our video will help you decide, generally speaking, it seems well constructed and thought out, it will certainly do the job for us anyway.
At the time of reviewing this ladder had £50 off the usual price, so it's worth shopping around for this type of thing.
Whether you have a car, small or large van the space-saving benefits over a traditional static ladder certainly offer advantages.
You guys are a legends! I was thinking about this ladder but i wanted to check the extension mechanism. Think i might have to go for one now!
they are good ladders, we've had it for years and used it a lot just make sure you keep it clean and occasionally some light silicone spray so it slides good.
@@DanielJohnHowTo lush. Im going screwfix this afternoon
I can highly recommend this ladder, since buying this I definitely feel I'm going up in the world
This was a really helpful video, thank you!
Thanks for sharing Guys! Very helpful 👍
Thanks for watching!
Any chance you can tell us more about the plastic bag? Cheers
😂🤣😂🤣
Great review just been looking on screwfix at a set , Which include stabilisers . Just a quick tip , Always climb ladders by using the rungs and not by using the sides of the ladder .. Safety first .....
Good tip!
Fred dibnah used the sides
It closes smoothly unlike other telescopic ladders that lock on every step making it more likely to malfunction,is this ladder worth buying nowadays?
Are the feet real rubber or fake rubber and does the plastic bag have holes bigger then 6mm ? If not I ain’t getting one. Great job.
Good in depth video. The description mentions 8m. I think you mean 3.8m?
might be a mistake in the video
Did you get a telescopic stable bar included ?
We didn't
Daniel, if the product is about a year old - the telescoping stabilizers slide out from the bottom of the ladder (no installation). There is not top stabilizer.
@@mitchellkieffer1516 I will have a look and see if they're included thanks

Do you have to wear safety goggles when operating this ladder, I couldn’t see any labels
No, unless you're doing worth with dust etc e.g. angle grinding/drilling but it's personal preference.
Why did you buy the ladder when you didn’t even know about EN131-6. ???
Are you telling me everybody that buys a ladder knows about the standards?
£150 ??
not sure about pricing now, video is quite old
Major design flaw with this ladder is that is only useful at full extension. If you need to get into a roof space or up to a tight spot near a cieling then you can’t with this ladder as it will only partially extend to the limit of your reach. If you need to extend up to 3 metres and the ceiling is 3.4 metres then you have to place it on floor and extend from the bottom to top, then stand the ladder up and do the job. Thats ok if you have tbe space to do this but 9/10 you do not and you have got extension ladders for that reason. They are sturdy, and heavy at 20kg but thats give and take for have safe feeling ladders. But ultimately if you need to use on a daily basis to access roofspaces, work in tight spots in a variety of settings then these ladders not practical
I've used it loads to get into a loft etc, it's not totally useless.
That is not correct. You can use this ladder at any length that you like. You group the unused rungs at the top of the ladder. See this video... ruclips.net/video/DtAX2HJy3E4/видео.html
Just use ur brain and the u can use it at any lenght
You got to be kidding with this. Holy Shit, get to the point.
