    • @sahilandsarra
      @sahilandsarra  2 года назад +1

Hi Ankit! Great question. I think MS in CS opens the door for you for both Software engineering jobs and data science jobs (even product management jobs!). If you are more interested in DS roles (like it was in my case at the time), try to incorporate machine learning/deep learning type of classes in your master’s to learn DS skills. Then you can get an internship in the field and convert it to full time. If you don’t like the DS role in your internship you can always switch to look for a software engineer job!

Hi there.. Hope you are doing well.
You guys are Amazing, keep going 👍🏻
I've one questions I'm recently passed out B. Tech Cse from tier 4/ 5 college. I haven't paid attention to study at all and thinks that I'm not made for coding, and I've applied in various companies for Business Analyst role..
But as I'm from teir 5 college there was rejections almost 20 rejections overall all from BA role amd even for Associate Software eng. role.. As I've applied through off campus... Because there is no company came for placements.
I faced depression at this time. 😔
Now I'm blank and I tried learning coding but again even after learning some.. I've gor rejections.
I'm interested in Project Management as I love managing things. But all the openings are for Experience candidates.
I feel I'm in big trouble..
Pls. Suggest me what should I do.
Another option I've is like moving to canada and Do adv. Diploma in Project Management - IT which is of 2 years duration and will give me 3 yrs post study work visa. But this college(Lambton) is average, have satelite campus in Torronto.. Having fees 22k Canadian Dollars.
While on the other hand.. I've centennial college which is having 1 yr graduate certificate in Project Management. And which wil give me 1 year post study work visa. And having fees 22k CAD..
Keeping in mind no work experience in India..
What should I do brother.. Should I think to try my luck in Canada with this background.. If yes so which college should I prefer. Does college name matters for placement in Canada.
Or what else I can do.. Keeping in mind i haven't gave my 100 % to coding tilk now. But what do you say should I gave a chance or what else I do..
    Pls help

brother honestly I'm not good at advicing others. but all i can say is try to build projects as much as possible. also gain experience by doing freelancing i know freelancing isn't 100% good root but it can help you.
also join communities, sometimes connection that u have made are really helpful. and master your work whatever you intrested in.
my advice isn't 100% accurate or anything but maybe you can find your way by doing this.
