A pouch that opens wide and almost becomes a tray is something that is so practical for so many different uses. Any time you want to easily see and access all of the contents at once but still want to keep them contained, this is a great option. Thank you for sharing!
So practical! She makes it look doable even with my limited sewing skills! I usually pour out all my makeup on a towel! I’d love to see a slimmer one that would pack nicely in carry on bag for travel! ❤❤❤
NOTE to those who might attempt to make the larger size - do not use the inches as the measurements are incorrect. Use the cm measurement. Someone found out the hard way. :)
At first, I used this technique and messed up and wasted 3 hours. I'm able to sew a magic pouch in another method. This technique is very hard. Zipper pull should have been pulled out so sewing will be much easier.
There is a difference between Chinese inches and imperial inches. A Chinese inch is the equivalent to about 1.13 imperial inches which is perhaps why there was a discrepancy when your fabric was cut.
@@annejones7510 I never knew that! I was watching and taking notes to resize it to almost double, 12.5"x5.5", and the measurements weren't adding up in my head. I'm glad ya'll posted this info, thanks so much for catching and especially for coming back and sharing without being snarky about it, and now we find out it's a translation thing. 👍🏻🤓
Didn't think a little pouch could be so much work/include so many steps. Probably the reason I don't see this around very much even if it is much more practical than most other pouches. Still gonna try it though. Thank you for this easy to follow step by step tutorial and the measurements
Made the cm version - like it a lot so i will make a pattern from cardboard to make more in the future. great for storing pens etc for sewing. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into these projects. :)
Fiz dois estojos do tamanho grande dois anos e meio atrás e eles são maravilhosos e agora voltei nesse vídeo novamente para fazer mais alguns para usar no meu dia a dia porque me acostumei com a praticidade de pegar as coisas dentro deles.
Someone else caught that the inches used in the video don't translate exactly to Emperial measurements used in the US so, fellow Americans, use the Metric dimensions 😉 Your videos are beautiful and easy to follow with no language barriers. Your bags are super practical and I like that you have all different skill levels for projects. I can start simple and keep challenging myself, all on your channel. Plus your designs are so unique! This Open Wide is my favorite. 👍🏻💯❤️
You make these look so easy! But appreciate the step by step. ! Made this. And still can’t do a clean rounded zipper!!! Looks easy but actually hard! Ana my lining had a right side and wrong side. So i had to figure out the placement. Hahaha
I would think if you multiplied each measurement by the same percentage, that would work. Say 1.5. So solid fabric would be 36.5cm x 1.5=54.8cm by 35.5cm x 1.5=53.3cm.
There must be an easier way to do this? There are so many steps! It also looks like the project may be more suitable to be done by hand than machine. Your efforts are truly appreciated.
Bonjour j'adore se que vous faites., votre trousse et le tuto est sympa, mais vous avez pas montrez comment mettre la fermeture avec la doublure. Merci
Lovely pouch and thanks so much for posting. Just wanted to FYI on the seam allowance. One cm is about 0.4 inch, not 1/4 inch which is equivalent to 0.25 inch. Conversely, a 1/4 inch seam allowance is about 0.6 cm.
I love the design of the bags you make. This bag in particular would have been perfect, except I need the big one to be 20cm W x 9.5 cm Hx 9.5cm D ... I am a beginner and unfortunately I don't feel confident enough to change the pattern . Any chance you could help me?
Cut 40cmx40cm mark the corner squares 10cmx10cm. So the 4 small squares are 10cmx10cm and then mark them diagonally an cut out the pattern. This should give a pouch 20cm by 9.5cm. Hope this helps ❤️
Danke! Für meine Zwecke perfekt!
Merci pour "Super Thanks".🤗🙆♀️💕
Mon cœur ne cesse de vous remercier et de vous remercier.

Me too, as a quilter I used the inch directions, ruined my pretty & quite expensive pieces of fabric. Unsure to try other patterns from this lady.
Thanks, I was wondering why they weren’t equal translations between metric and imperial

Thank you for the free tutorial. May all the good things come back to you!

You are SO wonderful for making all of these videos and putting so much time and effort into them! Thank you so so much!
This is the perfect travel pouch for me, I like to see my jewelry all spread out and if I used mesh fabric I could make packing cubes!

Eu estou feliz em ouvir isso. Tenha um ótimo dia.😄🎉

The little one is so adorable!
Love this pouch. Would like to know how to grade the measurements to make a larger size

You always come up with great ideas that no one else does, thanks for sharing,

Thanks for letting me know.🤗🙋♀️💕
if the fabric is thick enough there is no need to put fleece on the 20x16. they need to be wavy for the pouch to close easily
Idea super!!!👍👍👍
