Take those left rears, remove the valve cores, turn that hot box up to 212 and walk away. Come back in 10 minutes and temp gun them, when theyre 180+ pull them and put them in the deep freezer. Pull them from there when they're room temp and check the size. Ive done 20 sets this way with fantastic results. Also wear welding gloves those wheels get HOT.
If they made them smaller it’d be easier. Lol. Good stuff.
@@kart6t3_ben i can get on that train, only problem is the factory in taiwan will never hear our cries 😢
Reapers do like the heat. I dont internal them. Southeast tracks. Never have stuck them with a durometer. If the track needs goat, reapers need goat. If the track has bite, you may need to be on an older scuff and also a cut tire. Sand EVERYTIME you come off the track.
That’s what I keep hearing.
I think Reaper tire is more giving with minimum prep. As always stagger is in play, as well as psi.
I like the idea of keeping them locked down after each practice. Keeps each class as honest as possible.
There are def ways to curb the tire issue in karting.
I've found that all our older/ thinner tires are faster, Vegas, Buriss, and white Maxiss....
They can be in certain conditions for sure.
I want to try reaper but here in Canada there’s no retailers for them and I’ve tried a couple of time to message reaper but they seam not worried about dealings across the border !
That’s weird. Yeh idk how that all works, I wouldn’t think it’s that big of a deal?
@@grumpyginger7787 won't Palmetto speed shop ship to Canada???
Ya it’s hart to get kart parts in Ontario regardless of supplier du to lack of retailers here . But there is so little info about reaper on the net and after a few emails to them with no or little response I’ve given up for now . But would have loved to try there tires to try for the price
Yeh that’s a bummer. Wish I knew the answer for ya.
Hey Ben, have you ever used Hoosier tires, and where do you get them . And have you ever used them on your uas kart .
I have a rear set on my kart and for a loose track they work great for me. I ordered them from jegs
I have awhile ago. Not quite sure where to look for them though. Did work well on my open.

@@jasonsullivan324so you just have treaded tires on the rear?
What class do you race?
@jamietwigg5152 I actually built my own track at my house. I don't race in a class but yes I have the treaded tires on the rear
