- This clip is made from my inspiration of a simple and beautiful movie. I dedicate this clip to my beloved one who passed away a few years ago. As well, I really love Michael Crawford's incredible voice. I still love the original score composed by Mr. Barry. As a reason that I always move my residence, I am afraid that I will lose a CD album of Michael Crawford's EFX Live Performance, as I always forget where my CDs are after moving my house. I decided to put this song on line in order for getting thru it anytime, anywhere.

My wife died 9 years ago. We used to watch this movie together. The pain is just as great today as it was when she passed away. I hope and pray that I meet her again Somewhere In Time.

I have always loved Michael's voice ever since I first heard him sing as the Phantom in Phantom of The Opera.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time and Michael Crawford does it and the gorgeous, haunting music justice. He's got such a magnificient voice - he can sing powerfully at times and then, like here, he can sing with great delicacy, which is what this music requires. He makes me want to cry when I hear this song.

I have had the EFX soundtrack for some years now!! Those who absolutley love this song as I do but don't have the soundtrack it's on, you must get this!! It has a few other gorgeous Michael songs as well: "Magic That Surrounds You", "Tonight". I agree that the melody alone in this song is so heavenly. And Michael adds to it.

This brings back memories of when I was at Mackinac Island the year they made this film...since then I have been back to the Island several times...evevry year the Grand Hotel has a reunion of the stars in this movie and I have met several of them..class acts every one of them...amazing movie with only 5 million dollar budget...visit Mackinac Island and it will take you back in time to when life was much simpler

Amazing interpretation again, I must admit it with a soft male voice that perfectly accompanies the musical plot and the deep tragedy of a beautiful and unparalleled love story.This film which I think is the most beautiful story of love never worn in the cinema and in the noveltie literature has profoundly marked all those who saw it on its release and probably reviewed many times thereafter without tiring (I'm part of the number, there is magic in this timeless film) so much so that I am one of those who wish very much, one day to move in LE MICHIGAN, in the United States, at the right time, in period clothes to commemorate the Nth Anniversary of this film of Exception and find me in front of THE GRAND HOTEL, where this beautiful love story took place that defied the time. I will be happy to meet our loving JANE SEYMOUR, of course as many of its fans if she will choose to return back there for commemorate this beautiful event .Despite his absence CHRISTOPHER REEVES remains forever linked to these places and forever in our hearts.

During the early 1980s I was working for an American oil millionaire in Texas USA 🇺🇸. His long time Girlfriend lived in Hoch City Mitchigan and I used to book him in to the penthouse suite at The Grand Hotel 🏩 I have always loved this film and the song sang by Michael Crawford.

I just loved the movie and the music. No really sex scenes, nudity or vulgar language.Beautiful love story. I'm glad that they put words to the music, before that I could only imagine what the music was about. And of course Michael Crawford singing it makes it even better.

I don't know if time travel will ever be possible, but I like to believe that one day it will. I saw this movie in the theater in the 80's and truly loved the this theme song. I brought the tape (the only version available then) and nearly wore it out. The Michael Cawford version is heavenly. Thanks for posting it.

This song was in the production he did in Vegas, "EFX". The show was all about time, but I'm not exactly sure when or why this beautiful song got lyrics, but I'm so glad it did.
I loved this movie so very much that I went to the Grand Hotel Mackinac Island. It took my breath away. When I feel blue and think I've lost a lot....then I remember this time and smile.

This movie is of quality that once seen never forgotten, and one of a kind. However, there is an old Soviet movie, also with cult following, that is called "June 31", "31 июня". The scenery, plot details, etc., are different, but the line is same: a man, seeing a face of a beautiful woman in a magic mirrow), can't think of anything else but to find her. He sets up a deal with a magician to travel back in time, but for him it is not few decades, but few centuries.
WONDERFUL.....nothing else needs to be said.
Time travel is probably physically impossible, if not absolutely impossible. But the music by John Barry is amazing. And Jane Seymour is a stunner. Love doesn't last for eternity because we are soon forgotten within a few generations. I guess if I live another 20 years I expect within an additional 30 to 40 Years it will be as if I never existed. That is the fate that must befall us.

And... has no one not noticed that Michael Crawford sings like a vacuum cleaner? I might add, a poor quality cleaner, at that.
Well I'd like to hear that case, because clearly there are many impossible things in the universe. For example, it is impossible and will always be so for me to reach the end of the universe, or to resurrect from the dead physically. These are categorically impossible. Time travel is in a similar situation. Consider if it was possible, then where is the evidence of these time travellers? I'd be only too happy if one knocked on my door and proved that he was from the future, helping me perhaps to win the Euromillions! But there is no evidence of such beings.
