Onion Blight! Disaster or is There Any Chance of Recovery? Oh, the Joys of an Allotment!

On the allotment to face up to a disease spreading through my prized onions with one month still of growing to go. It seems to be a fungus similar to potato or tomato blight. Plus hacking at a tree with a billhook.
