      She's comfortable in her own skin and isn't trying to be something she isn't like a lot of fake celebrities, that attitude gives her an air of confidence without being arrogant.

    Is she any relative of His Highness Prince Giedroyc of Lithuania?

    • @nieson0727
      @nieson0727 9 лет назад +19

      According to the Wikipedia page on the surname Giedroyć (because I am apparently a person who will go and search for stuff like this...) Grand Duke Traidenis of Lithuania adopted the title Prince of Giedraičiai in the late 13th C (if this is the Prince you are after), which is the earliest mention of this name. Mel (and her sister Coky) are 17th generation in one of the two coherent genealogies of this family. That said, it IS Wikipedia info.

      +nieson0727 I mean if you're skeptical of it (being from Wikipedia) you could just check the citation..

    • @zbr76
      @zbr76 7 лет назад +1

      I seriously doubt this, because Mel's paternal family tree can't be found anywhere. Not even on the European peerage website, which is 99.5% accurate about these things. The only Giedroyc listed is Mel's sister Mary, and that's only because she married a baronet.

    Just reverse the genders, and think about if this is a funny story or just the confession of a disgusting creep. Does anyone think this is in any way acceptable?

    • @sophiaredwood5825
      @sophiaredwood5825 2 года назад +6

      It definitely does sound a bit creepy, hence why it’s a noteworthy card on a truth or lie game show where there are eccentric and creepy stories read out every so often. I’m tempted to give Mel the benefit of the doubt here and blame it on her being young and perhaps a bit of a fanatic for a celebrity, which I think we can all relate to at some point or another; if we all had the rare opportunity to do something similar, I’m sure we’d hear about it happening much more. It’s a bit of a reckless and disgusting decision, but if that’s the most reckless and disgusting thing she’s ever done, then sure, I can laugh and move on, I guess. I might definitely be biased though, because I love Mel as a person and I’ve seen her in a few British panel shows. She seems to be such a lovely, kind, and encouraging lady.

      It is creepy but it's also funny, they're not mutually exclusive. I can totally see someone like David Walliams coming on and saying he licked Madonna's dessert and it going down the same way.
